A lot of us wait until temptation hits before we decide how serious we are
That’s usually too late.
You already know your weak spots.
Late at night.
Alone.
Phone in your hand.
Tired.
Stressed.
Maybe lonely.
Then the thought comes and suddenly you’re trying to make a spiritual decision in the exact moment your flesh wants the opposite.
That’s why I think we need to stop acting like preparation is somehow less spiritual than prayer.
Yes, pray.
But also remove access.
Delete the app if it keeps leading you there.
Block the sites.
Leave the phone outside the room if that’s where you usually fall.
Tell someone you trust if secrecy is keeping the cycle alive.
1 Corinthians 6:18 says to flee sexual immorality.
Fleeing means you don’t stand there and test yourself.
You move.
You create distance.
You stop making the same sin easy to reach.
I think sometimes we ask God to help us resist while keeping every door wide open.
Then when we fall again, we feel defeated.
Maybe part of the answer is making the decision before the temptation comes.
Set things up while your mind is clear.
Make it hard to go back.
That isn’t weakness.
That’s wisdom.
You don’t have to prove how strong you are by keeping porn one search away.
You just have to be serious enough about freedom to stop making relapse easy.
