Thrustmaster T.Flight HOTAS Neo defective yaw

i was enjoying this thing for ace combat 8 quite a lot, but after only a few hours, the right yaw would start to activate for absolutely no reason. i'd be flying totally straight and then at random it'll just start yawing right even when i take my hands completely off the stick. and randomly sometimes the thruster paddles would become insanely sensitive and would trigger by just resting my fingers on it without pressing anything

This show is kind of bumbing me out unintentionally

Its wild to think when this show aired, there was the idea that this family was supposed to be more on the financially struggled side. I think a huge amount of Gen z and millennials would kill for what these people managed to have. A ton of kids, their own property, and multiple cars? And one parent works retail? Insane

The show just bizarrely encapsulates how much we've lost

I really want them to restore getting busted and more easily failable missions

replaying gta5 now, and the thing i kinda forgot about the game is that its almost impossible to get busted. went through the entire playthrough without it happening even once

and the other thing i just really didn't like about it is that the missions kinda can't be failed. the only real fail state tends to be getting killed. even if you screw up chasing a car really badly, or horrendously damage a vehicle you're supposed to deliver, the game is generally lax enough to not give a shit. and that kinda sucks. it makes so many missions sort of just feel like you're going through the motions, and the only entertainment value is from the narrative and whatever humor they stuck in

I miss the ps2 era missions where you can easily fuck the whole mission up by letting someone die, letting a timer hit zero, flipping your car, or someone getting away from you. or getting busted during a police chase cause you let them get to close to the door when trying to swap cars...which was necessary because you couldn't just magically flip cars when they rolled over

How do people apply fighting game principles to tag fighters?

I play a lot of 1v1 fighters, but have never really been able to get myself into tag games. i feel like i kinda just don't get how to play them well. Theres just so much happening so fast I don't get how any makes reads. or even how to apply other principles of the genre like fishing for whiff punishes when the opponent can just cover all their actions with assists

How does anyone actually make reads in tag fighters?

They're just so damn chaotic, and theres about a million things the opponent can do at any moment. i don't get how to even fish for whiff punishes when assists can just go flying around at any time

Can someone recommend a leverless that requires some actual force to keep held down on the directionals?

i've been using a razer kitsune since it came out, and in all that time i STILL suck at pulling off a fast cancel into either p1 qcb or p2 qcf. my ring finger just loves to stay on the back/forward slightly too long so nothing happens when i hit the button. i feel like i need something that takes a little longer to actuate or that springs back very fast with any amount of release of the button

has anyone dealt with this issue before and how did you fix it? i assume at this point for how much time i've put into it, my ring finger is never actually going to fix itself and i need something harder to accidentally keep triggered

Leverless with less sensitive directional buttons?

i have a razer kitsune and i've been using it for 2+ years, and in all that time i STILL fuck up qcb inputs, or qcf on player 2 side

the problem is apparently just that my fucking ring finger will just sometimes drag on a button too long. i'm wondering if less sensitive buttons will save me here. if the issue was that i'm not hitting it fast enough i imagine it'd be fine, but just going by the inputs i'm just not getting my damn finger off fast enough some times. and try as i might to train it, it just does not work

anyone run into similar issues and how did you resolve it?

What exactly is "sauce" anyway?

This comes up literally every time a new game or character comes out. You'll have people screeching about it not have sauce, or oh my god its loaded with sauce. Fuck that even mean? Is it just big combos or tricky mix? Does it have to be optimal to be considered saucy?

Was tokon often a laggy mess for anyone else?

Wifi users aside, even matches with perfect connection strength would often feel like shit. And I noticed this with a ton of streamers as well. And im wired with a gigabit internet

Should I just be moving along with the main quest or what?

i found jova, and i know where the convoy went. but i'm kind of just clearing out what enemies i can and seeing whats around. however, i've already maxed out both the weapons i've found so far, and it doesn't seem like stuff respawns so i feel like i should probably stop killing stuff until i find something new

How does Nurgle get his diseases out into the galaxy?

Can something like nurgles rot or the zombie virus just appear on a planet seemingly for no reason? Do they have to hitch a ride with demons who have managed to enter realspace? Or does it mostly come from a new arrival to a planet that already had a nurgle incursion?

What part of fighting do the orks actually crave?

Ok, so orks love fighting. but what part of the action actually releases the feel good chemicals in their brains? is it the feeling of domination? is it a sadistic joy for causing suffering? is it the challenge of it? etc

if you could stick on ork into a holodeck, would it get the same satisfaction it gets from real conquest? or does it have to know its hurting and killing real things to feel good about it? Could you substitute military violence with an aggressive sport and have the same effect? Does something have to die to please them?

Beating turtle guile feels so much more like they just have to screw up rather than you playing well

I hope I'm not alone in this. But take the zangief/turtle guile match up. This seems almost entirely dependent on either lucky guesses from gief, or the guile screwing up badly. There's just so few real ways in that guile can't just block or flash kick

How many frames do you get back when you drive rush cancel?

i can never tell how to know if its possible to combo something out of drive rush. like ryu can loop his st. hp as long as he dr cancels it. its normally +4 on hit, and its +8 if you do it after a drive rush. but the move is 10 frames to start. how would i know that it would loop if you dr cancel it?

how + are you after doing a dr cancel?

Capcom went way too overboard with the corner carry in sf6

i do love the game overall, and its probably the most i've played an fg in an extremely long time. but this is definitely a major issue with the game

at first i thought it was just that drive rush is annoying, and cr.mk into drive rush is just too incredibly powerful for how little risk it has. but i think its only as powerful as it is because a huge portion of the cast can just pull off a full blown coast to coast combo after barely touching the opponents toes. and even without a low, just every interaction in this game feels like it puts one of the players into a corner. Frequently someone will guess wrong, and the round just dies right there.

I feel like no single combo should be able to traverse the entire damn stage, and probably shouldn't even be close to the entire stage.

like its easy to say that you deserved the corner hell because you made a mistake, but misjudging your distance from your opponents cr.mk by a pixel is a super easy mistake to make. its not like blowing a dp or whiffing a super, its such a nothing slip up and the punishment for it often costs the round

I've heard it suggested the corner is so dangerous in sf6 to encourage aggression instead of walking back. which would be fair, except you can be incredibly aggressive and still end up in the corner if they win a single interaction regardless of your position on the stage

Is Marisa's command grab pressure real?

this gets so annoying as fuck with her. she has so many armored neutral skips and then makes you coin flip on a super damaging command grab. i've never been able to react to the flash she does first, but can you with practice? or can it be otherwise resisted?
