RIS II vs RIS III which do you prefer?
Completed the set today, all Brownells upper.

Anyone has the new Gen3 BRN180 and can confirm the exact barrel contour for the upper? The website is very light on detail about the barrel and the specification just says “light weight” contour. Does it mean this had pencil profile?
I’d like to know how it compares to government or medium profile. Wished they offer heavy profile like the BRN4
Got my first suppressor. Need another one already. Only took 2 business day to get form 4 approved.
In before:
Yes, my gun is clean
Yes, i need a light
Yes, i got sling
Yes, fuck sig
Yes, i can buy more expensive optics
This is the conclusion of my factory Geissele Super Duty short stroking story. The gun had <1K rounds before this happened.

G$ sent me a new BCG after 3 weeks of requests. Took multiple follow up emails & calls before they shipped it. Reasons ranged from man down in CS to BCG being used for a lot of their products & contracts and are hard to source. Gun is working fine now, only use the new carrier and kept the old bolt.
I decided to test the gas key of the defective carrier today to find out why it's leaky. Didn't even take 1min. The 1st screw was free spinning when I tried to tighten it, it was already snapped off. The 2nd screw was tight, wouldn't move at 50in-lb of torque.
Also, the staking is very shallow, no marks on the broken screw at all.
Did G$ use low quality screw? Found it hard to believe for a brand new gun & BCG to have gas key screw shear off within <1K rounds.
