Will Leni be running? I hope so. Or anyone who can match those numbers pls

With the Green Goblin dominating the frontrunner spots, it feels like we are completely sleepwalking into another six years of the same old playbook. If we want to realistically beat her, how do we even pull that off if this Senate trial falls through?

Now that the trial is actively happening, the legal loopholes and the actual cost are hitting hard. Like, what if she gets acquitted? We're basically sidelined by the Constitution’s one-year bar rule. We wouldn’t be able to file another complaint against her for a full year, giving her a massive window of immunity to rebuild her momentum right when the presidential race is heating up.

Also, the logistics are just insane!

Impeachment is a total financial black hole. Running an active trial drains what, an estimated ₱25M per day in operational costs and legislative downtime? Spending hundreds of millions of taxpayer money on a high-stakes political circus that might just end in an acquittal feels incredibly risky. If this trial doesn't work out, what's the actual game plan to shift those survey numbers?

And getting acquitted in this trial would likely push her momentum to greater heights!

CIMB Personal Loan: Getting "cannot find account" error when linking GCredit

I’m currently applying for a personal loan via the CIMB app. During the process, it’s asking me to link existing accounts, so I’m trying to link my GCash GCredit since CIMB powers that anyway.

The problem is, it keeps throwing an error saying "they cannot find the account."

I have checked, double-checked, and triple-checked all my details (mobile number, email). Everything is 100% identical on both apps, but it just refuses to push through. I've tried it multiple times already.

Has anyone encountered this specific bug? How did you get around it? Do I need to contact CIMB support or GCash support for this?

Who is this guy always punching at OLJ and its CEO?

I always see him in my feed as [Suggested] post. Didn't bother to click on his profile to avoid "Juan Dela Cruz viewed your profile ".

Couldn't care less either. OLJ is a cesspool weugh!

Is he building a platform to compete or something? Though it's obvious in his tags about being an advocate

'Hinog na': Ombudsman says flood control case vs Joel Villaneuva almost ready | ABS-CBN News

Pero, iha-harvest ba?

Now that Villanueva has delivered by siding with the administration’s new ruling majority, will that "ripe fruit" suddenly be left to rot and be forgotten?

It really makes you cynical about the "anti-corruption" drives we see. If the case miraculously gets delayed or quietly archived, we’ll know exactly why. What are your thoughts on this?

Let's go, Pinas, it's our turn!

Am I right?

What's stopping us from doing this? We have a lot of money.

Practically, we have to start by completely overhauling PhilHealth from a mere insurance middleman into a single-payer system funded by aggressive progressive taxation, specifically scaling up sin taxes and corporate levies.

Instead of forcing Filipinos to navigate a maze of separate city, provincial, and national hospitals, we need to unify the Department of Health and local government units into a single public health network where your records and coverage are universally accepted anywhere.

By pooling our national resources, capping the costs of essential medicines, and mandating public-private partnerships where private hospitals are legally required to reserve beds for universal health patients at standardized rates, we can build a system that prioritizes human lives over profit lines.

Shrouding the Heavens is jaw-dropping, but it suffers from a lack of kinetic weight

Let’s give credit where it’s due: visually, Shrouding the Heavens (Zhe Tian) is one of the best out there. The scale is awesome, the particle effects are gorgeous, and the raw fidelity of the cultivation constructs is genuinely breathtaking. From a pure aesthetic standpoint, it's eye candy.

But there is a glaring, systemic flaw that ruins the immersion: the action has absolutely zero weight.

To use a bit of critical jargon, it suffers from a lack of tactile resonance. When a cultivator shatters a mountain or drops a divine seal, there is no visceral impact. The sound design feels detached from the visuals, and the physics engine of the animation treats titanic forces like they’re weightless.

It feels less like a clash of gods and more like a beautifully rendered float simulation where nothing has mass.

Anyone else getting pulled out of the stakes because the physics just feel too "floaty"?

[Perfect World] also has this feel.

I'm thinking it's due to the camera action angles and how they rotate around the characters. But also not, because RMJI, RI, TOHG, Swallowed Star also employ this rotation thing.

Rejected daw ako, pero ako naman ang umayaw? (the illusion of recruiter rejection templates)

Screenshots summary:

  • Pic 1: Me stating my asking rate before confirming the interview.
  • Pic 2: Recruiter admitting it’s above the client’s budget.
  • Pic 3: Rejection email saying they chose candidates who are more qualified.

See the dissonance here? 😂

Gets ko naman na automated 'yan sa ATS nila, pero change the template naman! Imbis na "budget mismatch," pinalabas pa na kulang ako sa qualifications.

Kaya ung nakakatanggap kayo ng generic rejection emails, huwag niyo agad i-down ang sarili niyo.

It’s not always you. Sometimes, corporate speak lang talaga 'yan para i-close ang ticket mo sa system nila.

Minsan, di ka lang talaga nila afford esp by local agencies and their margins considerations.

Know your worth!

Nakita ko lng sa TK app. Can anyone confirm na ganito talaga?

Specially pointing out LinkedIn. So play it smarter by

  1. When you see a job, check if the company has posted multiple identical roles - that's a red flag.

  1. Use LinkedIn filters to find people who currently work in that team and message them directly. Instead of applying cold, ask for a 10-min chat. That in sider validation saves you weeks of wasted time

[SWE] Is this resume too technical for non-technical recruiters/HR?

Halo!

I’m a Senior Software Engineer (12YOE) currently prepping my resume for job hunt. I’ve reached that point in my career where my projects involve a lot of complex architecture, systems design, and tech stacks.

While I think this appeals heavily to hiring managers and tech leads, I’m worried I’ve gone too far down the rabbit hole and that my resume is now a wall of jargon that will scare off non-technical recruiters or HR screeners.

Ask po sana ng feedback. Thanks!

And oh, my resume is 3 pages long!

Bro, you are recruiting for a senior role and your absolute baseline requirement is 'MUST HAVE COMPUTER'? Who are you trying to hire, a software architect or a 1990s cybercafe customer?

Sending a raw Google Doc for a high-level engineering assessment is completely amateur hour. And tell me how you're still vetting clients.

Be careful out there folks! These scammers are all over the place.
