What childhood fear sounds ridiculous now, but felt very real back then?

When I was little, I used to think someone was secretly watching me through the dark at night. I would literally sprint back to my room after turning off the lights because I was convinced something would grab my legs. Looking back now, it sounds completely ridiculous, but at the time it felt 100% real.

Struggling to learn driving and feeling overwhelmed

Learning to drive has been really difficult for me. I go out almost daily with my husband, full of hope and motivation that I’ll improve, but I keep making mistakes especially at traffic signals and right turns. I try my best to stay focused, but sometimes I get overwhelmed and mess up. He gets angry when it happens, and then I end up feeling even more nervous and unsure of myself. I really want to learn properly, but I don’t know what I should do to get better. Did anyone else go through this stage when learning to drive?

From Train Excitement to Floor Nap

My 29 month old insisted on going on a train outing today. He was super excited the whole time, until we came back. Then he got so tired he just fell asleep wherever he found a spot like his battery hit 0%

What factors usually make a country rank highly in global quality of life reports?

I often see countries praised for quality of life, but different reports seem to value different things like healthcare, safety, salaries, public transport, work life balance, or cost of living.
