Got this game today, have some questions...
Normally I'd just look things up on YouTube, but I really don't want to risk spoilers this time.
To give a bit of context, I've always been someone who plays games mainly for the gameplay. Some of my favorite games are Sekiro and Devil May Cry, where the combat is the main attraction. Because of that, I've never really managed to get into story rich games like The Witcher 3(couldn't finish it dropped it midway, I am sorry TwT)
NieR: Automata feels different though. I've heard so many people say it's one of those games everyone should experience, and I genuinely want to give it the best chance possible instead of bouncing off it because of my usual preferences.
So I wanted to ask you guys:
What mindset should I have while playing so I can appreciate what makes this game special instead of having wrong expectations?
I plan on getting the five main endings. Is there anything I should know beforehand (without spoilers), like whether I should keep multiple save files or you just get them naturally?
Are there any weapons, Pods, Chips, items, or side quests I should prioritize early on?
And finally, is there any spoiler free advice you wish someone had given you before your first playthrough?
I really want my first experience with this game to be the best it can be. Thanks!
Cavalier Angelo No Damage Run
Still learning dante so the gameplay isn’t that fluid but I was pretty proud of this run
And there are times when they take damage being shot at the torso
Sorry if I am wrong but I thought counter to dual blades was shooting at their legs? I have had this same thing happen to me multiple times actually. If it’s cause of the server it needs to be addressed, the inconsistency sucks for both the user and the player going against it.
My worst scenarios and my shoulder….
so these two are my worst scenarios, I am actively trying to implement the bardoz method but the occasional micro jitters you are seeing are not from death gripping or anything, they are coming from my shoulder. I have a type iv tendon tear injury and that causes me to not being able to move my shoulder freely. every time I play these scenarios my shoulder gets sore very quickly and I start shaking even more. I have much easier time playing tracking scenarios. I feel like I have hit a wall on clicking scenarios and won't be able to get better until I can get my shoulder fixed. should I stop playing clicking temporarily or increase my sens and don’t use my shoulder. My sens here is 52 and 56cm
I might be super late to the party but I have questions
So I finally watched this anime and immediately went to read the manga (thought I could see ixphoria) but no regrets. Man am glad I read the manga! I have watched 80+ animes and It’s definitely gonna top 10 for me and for the question is there a LN or something? Do they show more of ixphoria? If not it’s fine, my head cannon would be they got that frog cunt and lived happily ever after.
200 hours on kovaak’s and my concerns
Well I know everyone has their own pace and all but I have seen a lot posts where ppl were hitting much higher ranks with similar and even lower playtime. Ik and I am not really comparing, just using them as references and it got me thinking what if I am just doing something wrong? Out of the 200 hours 180 was spent playing viscose benches only. I have divided the viscose benchmark into 3 smaller playlist with each scenario having 2 runs and that’s how I have been playing all the time. Is it a bad approach?
I wanted to upgrade my victus 16 storage but…
But it looks like there’s no extra slot for SSD. My dream’s been shattered lol. I was thinking about using an external ssd. I don’t really know the drawbacks of them but it’s fine if I have to wait a bit for my games to load as long as I don’t get any stutters or lags I am good. Is it a good idea?
Can anyone show me irl pictures of these two watches please
I have been considering getting one of these two watches. Being fairly new there isn’t much about these two on the internet compared to that sand dune dial. If you own any of them a quick review would be much appreciated too. Thanks!
Can I blowdry without heat protectant if i keep the temperature on the coolest settings?
I have been thinking about getting a blowdryer but I have always been scared of damaging my hair. I don't have problem if it takes a bit longer to dry my hair I just want my hair to have the shape I want without damaging it.
Help me choose my first watch
After looking around online for the past couple of days, I’ve narrowed my options down to these 6 watches. They fit my budget and match the aesthetic I’m going for.
I don’t really understand all the technical stuff like movements, crystal materials, etc. I just want something versatile that works with almost any outfit and occasion.
I like all of them, but I’m not sure which one is the most universal and best quality overall. If you have any other suggestions in a similar price range, feel free to share. Thanks!
200 hours of kovaak’s
Still need a lot of works for those jitters but my aim looks way better than it did back when I barely had any time on kovaak’s. While yes I am on the lower end of the spectrum being only fox rank and all compared to some other 200 hours guys. But I have never played an fps before until like 6 months ago. I am really proud of how far I’ve come, my aim wouldn’t look half as good if I never got into kovaak’s.
Sens: 30-34cm

Thoughts on Nanase swimsuit
If you’ve been looking forward to this panel getting animated you can see she definitely got a bit nerfed here. In the LN her profile is a bit more wider specially around the waist and also she is a bit tanned? The anime made her face look prettier imo but her body looks just like every other anime highschool girls with that thin and tall build. I might be nit picking here but I can’t be the only one who feels like that lol, y’all’s thoughts?
Got a monitor arm today. Turned out better than I imagined.
