I hope this is something that I can change in settings.

In the storage folder my books have the title and author name, but it cuts off the title to add the author. I don't want the file to have the author name. Here is an example of the problem:

Instead of the file saying,

"Go Home (A Kate Valentine FBI Suspense Thrill Book 1"

it says,

"Go Home (A Kate Valentine FBI S - Blake Pierce"

I played with the import/export settings under "Save books to disk" and have the template set to "title" but no luck.

Any ideas?

I'm having the strangest issue. I have the M300 and all my audio apps work except for hoopla. I get a "something went wrong/try again later" error when trying to download a title, and there is zero audio when using the device speaker, Bluetooth, and wired earbuds. All permissions are enabled. I uninstalled and redownload the app. Cleared the download manager cache and storage. Checked and the device is on current software. Anybody else run into this?

This is super weird. I have a kindle 3rd gen (model B008) and it's running 3.4.1. I downloaded the 3.4.2 firmware because I read that you need to step up to 3.4.3, and when I go to settings the update option is available, by the update fails. If I just put the 3.4.3 file in the device the update option is grayed out.

Had anyone had this issue?

I've verified the serial number and that I'm using the right firmware from the Amazon software update website.

I'd love to use a page turner but I don't think that's an option in anything but the stock firmware or a crosspoint beta. Any idea if it's planned for Crossink?

My Cosori was neglected and grease is so badly baked onto the basket that all cleaning and scrubbing methods have failed. I used industrial dawn degreaser, heated it up then soaked in hot water, used a non scratch scouring pad, but I can't get it clean. Is there any hope?

I have the galaxy buds fe and for some reason the left bud won't charge unless I'm holding it in place. I've completely cleaned the contact points in the case and on the buds and even used an alcohol wipe. I've tried without the silicone tip. Has anybody else had an issue like this with this version?

I use Calibre to move my library to my Kobo but when I go to my home folder it shows folders with all the authors, but I want the home holder to show all the books, not the author folders. Would Simple UI be the best way to resolve that? Or even group them by series?

I updated to 8.5 and ever since then I can't pull down my notification panel if I have an app open. Once I go to my home screen it works. I checked my home screen settings and "swipe down for notifications" is enabled. I rebooted but it didn't fix it. Anybody know if there is a bug with this?

I was able to access koreader through NM on my Kobo but somehow it disappeared. I reinstalled it but no go. Anybody run into this? I'm going to reinstall NM and see what happens. Does anyone find that getting Koreader setup on a Kobo is trickier than on a Kindle?

I'm looking for a newer mp3 player that meets some specific needs. If it's in a good budget range it would be amazing. Any recommendations?

* Physical volume, play/pause, and navigation buttons.

* Variable speed if I want to put audiobooks on it.

* Ability to shuffle within playlists (on device memory and on memory card) and not shuffle all files across the device and/or memory card.

* Good sound quality if changing EQ to rock or pop without base or treble washing out other tones.

* Bonus: can transfer files from my phone, but not really a big deal.
