reddit.comSelfie with the OG mule
I had the opportunity to shoot for Ralph Gilles upcoming Viper Quarterly article at the private Connor historical showroom. Verbal NDA on all my photos but I have explicit permission to share this selfie with the original Viper mule my dad, Ken Nowak and Team Viper^(TM) built.
Keep a look out for the article. I think I got some decent photos and I may request permission to share originals once it’s published!
Discussion: quality, affordable equipment insurance
Title says it all, for the most part.
I have a Nikon Z6ii and I’m looking to mainly insure body and lenses. Also, potentially studio flashes and constant RGB “video lighting” that I use for photos and some video work. I might want to additionally insure audio equipment; xlr interfaces, microphones, etc.
My possible uses could expose my gear to adverse-ish conditions; snowy and rainy rallies, dusty environments, on-track racing conditions, whatever conditions boating on Lake St Clair can manifest, in-home theft, transportation damage… possible fire damage while shooting flow performances. (Hopefully unlikely)
Genuinely clueless on this topic. Seeking all advice, no matter your perspective.
Probably hoping to ensure ~$20-25k in gear for now.
B&H heavy discount: Pelican 1535AirWF Wheeled Carry-On Hard Case with Foam Insert (Black)
$169.99 with foam
Interesting side note: I fell into Pelican Products because I was into cracking, hacking and messing with code in games. I had a PS2 CodeBreaker from “Pelican Accessories” and eventually tried looking up the brand only to find epic, watertight storage solutions.
