Crazy rain in Isb & Rwp...Flood threat

The rain in Islamabad and Rawalpindi has been crazy today, and there's a serious flood threat in some areas. Nallah Lai's water level even crossed 22 feet earlier today.

What's the situation like in your area? Is it raining heavily there too, or has the weather calmed down?

PakistaniTwenties is filled with misogynists and pick me girls 🤮

I've been looking through Pakistani Twenties, and honestly, some of the posts and comments there are wild.

Whenever there's a relationship discussion, I keep seeing people (especially men) blaming women. In one discussion, people were arguing that women are the problem because apparently women have “unrealistic standards,” especially when it comes to wanting a financially stable partner.

But here's what I don't understand: both men and women have unrealistic standards for the opposite gender in Pakistan. Both are delulu. But why throw all the blame on one gender? Why is it considered acceptable when men say they want the “perfect girl,” but suddenly women are wrong for not wanting to date a financially struggling guy?

I even pointed this out, and someone basically responded, “We don't want to be with someone we're not attracted to.” Okay... then why shouldn't women also be allowed to have their own preferences? 😭

What surprised me even more was seeing women agreeing with this stuff. Things like “As a woman, I agree” and “Women in their late 20s have such high standards. And they will be alone” Like...they are just in their 20s and acting like village born boomers..

And then I saw posts where a 20-year-old girl was fantasizing about marrying a 30-year-old man and said she had apparently had a crush on him since she was 12. So she was crushing on a 22-year-old when she was literally 12. That's seriously disturbing to me. 🤮

Overall, the subreddit gives me a very strong patriarchal vibe, and there are also some genuinely creepy comments from men.

Maybe there are normal people there too, but based on what I've seen, I definitely wouldn't recommend that sub. -0/10.

Has anyone read this book?

It’s banned in Pakistan, but I’m surprised there are still PDFs of it floating around.

Everything Is Loosh!! EVERYTHING!!

I used to think only major events were being used to harvest energy, huge sports events, political conflicts, wars, social problems, etc.

But no. The Demiurge is harvesting loosh from the tiny, everyday things too.

You get annoyed by someone...loosh.

You don't like your new outfit..loosh.

Someone embarrasses you...loosh.

You get frustrated over something completely ordinary...loosh.

It's EVERYTHING.

The Demiurge isn't even letting us take a breath. Every little emotional reaction is another opportunity to harvest energy from us.

And don't even get me started on children. Kids aren't safe from this either. Look at the school system and all the unnecessary pressure, stress, fear, embarrassment, punishment, and situations that can make a child cry. It's like the Demiurge is freaking greedy.

I genuinely don't understand what he's doing with THAT much energy. Eight billion people are producing emotional energy every single day. What does he even need all of it for?

My personal technique now is simple: whenever something tries to make me react emotionally, I immediately recognize what's happening and tell myself:

"LOOSH ON THE WORK."

It instantly reminds me not to give the reaction away for free. Humor is our only weapon.

Is our fate sealed?

Seriously, is everything that happens in our lives already written in our fate?

If yes, then who writes our fate? And why is a completely different fate written for each of us? Why are some people born into loving, wealthy families while others are born into difficult circumstances and spend years struggling?

Why can't I achieve focus 10?

I've been practicing Focus 10, and I'm confused about what I'm doing wrong. I feel like I'm following everything correctly: I lie down comfortably, relax each part of my body, and eventually feel very relaxed while still remaining aware.

But I still can't seem to get that "body asleep, mind awake" feeling. My body just feels relaxed rather than completely numb or asleep.

Am I expecting the wrong thing? Is there something I'm missing, or does it simply take more practice to reach that state? (I'm practicing AP for months)

The hypocrisy is crazy 💀

So apparently, AI creators making money from AI-generated content is only bad until the antis can profit from it themselves. 😭

They constantly say AI is bad because it “steals artists’ work,” yet here they are stealing AI artists’ work, reposting it, and selling it themselves. Apparently it’s only wrong when AI does it, but perfectly fine when they do it.

If you really want to profit from AI art, why not generate your own instead?

Do any of you hate birthdays?

My birthday was on August 4th, and I genuinely don't like birthdays. It's just like any other normal day to me. But for some reason, I feel sad and depressed on my birthday every single time. It's been like this since I was 10. And I hate, hate, hate when people say "Happy Birthday". For some reason, I just want to punch them when they say it 😭 because it feels so cringe.

Which niche would you choose for long-term growth and monetization?

I'm stuck between two ideas.

  1. Self-improvement videos with AI stickman icons, lots of CapCut editing, AI voice, and original scripts.

  2. AI-generated stories/tales with AI animations, some editing (effects, captions, pacing), and AI voice.

I'm mainly thinking about long-term growth and monetization. Which one has a better chance of getting monetized and surviving in the long run? I'd rather build something sustainable than chase quick views.

IWTL how to track my progress, get better at trial and error, and figure out what's actually working.

I want to learn how to:

  1. Track my progress in a way that's actually useful.

  2. Get better at trial and error instead of treating every failure like a dead end.

  3. Figure out what's working and what's not.

  4. Review my progress and make smarter adjustments over time.

  5. Stay consistent long enough to see results.

Are there any systems, books, methods, or frameworks that helped you learn this?

Do AI looking thumbnails/videos get fewer impressions than AI videos that don't look AI?

Do you think videos/thumbnails that look obviously AI-generated get fewer impressions than ones that don't?

I'm talking about cases where both videos are actually made with AI, but one has a more natural style while the other immediately screams "AI."

Do you think YouTube's algorithm or even viewers react differently, leading to lower impressions or CTR? Or does it not really matter as long as people click and watch?

I'm curious if anyone has tested this or noticed a difference, just like I did?

Why is YouTube giving my videos impressions so slowly?

I'm a new creator, and I'm a bit confused about how YouTube is distributing my videos.

My first video only got around 10 views after two days, and since then it's been getting just 1-2 views every few hours. I uploaded another video today, and so far it has 0 views.

Is this normal for a brand new channel? Does YouTube take time to test videos before giving them more impressions, or could I be doing something wrong?

I'd appreciate hearing from other new creators who went through the same thing.

Do language learning channels get monetized if they use AI-generated images?

I run a language learning channel where I create short lessons and stories. The story scripts are created by chatgbt, the images are AI-generated, and the voiceover is done using CapCut's AI voice.

Does this type of content qualify for YouTube monetization, or could it be considered reused/low-effort content? Has anyone here monetized a similar language learning channel?
