Kpop fans on tiktok and YouTube are a whole different breed of stupid

I just saw a video on tiktok of a kpop fan who "realised everything is connected" (in the conspiracy theorist way)

The way you can tell these people either don't care about logic or are extremely young is so funny to me because wdym you connected ILLIT to the illuminati by similar names(ILL'IT means I'LL be IT,I hope I don't need to explain what that implies)

Also theories of (obviously) fan-edited photos of groups to look "scary"/funny and saying it creeped them out as if that's how the groups actually look(I'm referring to the edited photos of Megan and daniela and the edited photos of twice)

Another theory of these philosophical prodigies - the star pose by LE SSERAFIM is demonic or smth?for context: its just a star pose, quite common actually and NO it isn't connected to David's star(on the flag of israel). Stars have been an important part of history and symbolise a plethora of things like:

The North star

The Eight pointed star(found on flags like pakistan,Turkey and tunisia)

the stars on other flags like the US

Also would like to mention biblical creatures(?),mythological creatures, and characters from old time stories have been a consistent part of LE SSERAFIM's concept and it doesn't always focus on religious ones, for examples - The Hydra, the Great mermaid,Sour grapes(based on the fox and the grapes),Eve psyche and the bluebeards wife(biblical, mythological, and story characters),fallen angels,Galileo in CRAZY(his story went along with the message) etc

I also saw theories regarding that covering one eye pose, which is for a magazine btw

I'm not sure if these people just WANT to be ignorant or what because all these could be explained with a Google search, not to say there's nothing evil ever going on in kpop, there probably is,but attacking random groups and coming up with dumb theories doesn't say shit

Do you consider LE SSERAFIM 4th gen leaders(as a big 3 or big 4)

I was wondering how many people would consider them as leaders for ggs

Also try to mention why or why not

Please don't mention bgs or say "it should be ___ instead of ____!"

If you need some reasons as to why, here:

They are the only ACTIVE 4th gen gg with music show wins on all comebacks

LE SSERAFIM officially became the 3rd female group in history to gross over $2M from a single US concert - joining Twice and Blackpink

UNFORGIVEN achieved a music-show grand slam, winning on all six major Korean music programs in a single promotion cycle.

LE SSERAFIM were the First K-pop girl group to perform on America's Got Talent

LE SSERAFIM's FEARLESS had the highest first-week sales for any K-pop girl group debut album at the time

They made history as the fastest K-pop group to win an MTV Video Music Award

They have the highest monthly listeners of all 4th gen groups at the moment,3rd in kpop overall,2nd in ggs

LE SSERAFIM IS CURRENTLY THE HIGHEST EARNINGS BY K-POP FEMALE ACTS

LE SSERAFIM's song "Easy" won 9 first-place awards on South Korean music programs. These trophies make it the most-winning song released in 2024

As you can see, they're my ults, but I'm open to opinions!

Remember, there can be multiple leaders, and some groups might need time to grow!

You can't support abused groups and then hate on other groups for dumb reasons

this MIGHT be a hot take, not so much but I genuinely think supporting a group that faced and spoke up about abuse(newjeans and loona as examples) and then go hate on other groups for things that don't matter in the slightest

there's probably more but prime examples are bunnies hating on most 5th gen ggs and LE SSERAFIM because that just makes you a hypocrite especially since your favs are either friends with these idols,or would advocate for their mental health too

another example is orbits, they are in the top 5 most toxic fandoms ever knowing full well that the loona members literally wouldn't want this for other idols who are probably facing abuse on top of the hate

Now to be fair, orbits did mostly hate on groups fandoms and not the groups themselves but that doesnt change much

The only reason I'd say you should hate on an idol is if they ACTUALLY did something problematic especially if they didn't even apologise

Note: if you take this as hate towards newjeans, loona,or me "generalising" these fandoms, then you're just a dumbass for thinking that

also, yes this applies to other groups fandoms too but I can't think of any atm

LE SSERAFIMs main symbol/association

What would you say is LSF's kind of like symbol or something they are commonly associated with, unlike other groups

the most iconic thing about them that upon sight, reminds people(including non-fans) of them

For example:

Blackpink - BLACKPINK in your area

Michael Jacksons moon walk

Newjeans - Their rabbit,or rabbits in general ig

Aespa - their AI avatars and concept overall

Enhypen - vampires

And I don't mean their group logo

Individual members can also be discussed

one example of mine would be their fimily star but I'm not sure if non-le sserafim fans would immediately think of le sserafim

LE SSERAFIM unsynchronised "controversy"

This was genuinely the first thing that came to mind when I saw people hating them for it

who cares if their domino effect at a concert YOU weren't at wasn't in sync for 5 seconds LMAOOO

Anyone who cares can NOT seriously be over the age of 13

edit: I'm not sure why people are taking this as hate towards aespa or blackpink?? I get fearnots can be cruel but that's mostly isolated to twitter...which I don't have..what do I have to do with this?

Pain of idols stepping down as MC or ending a variety show

No one talks about the pain of having to watch the favourite variety show of your idol end or seeing their days as an MC end, the weird feeling of waiting for the next episode knowing it won't come is sooo upsetting

It has the same vibes of a disbandment honestly

Some examples that I can think of:

Eunchaes start diary + MC manchae

Haewon workdol

Wonyoung MC

Happy together

Park bo gum + Irene

I hope someone can relate to this lol

People comparing lexie and nwjns

I saw a video on tiktok comparing the situations of lexie from Saint satine and nwjns, more specifically public reactions to these situations

She argued that nwjns were hated for trying to leave hybe while lexie is called a girlboss or smth

That makes no sense tho?neither should get hate first of all(I'm not implying that she said lexie deserves hate) but also the situations are different

I like nwjns songs,I think they were manipulated by MHJ and made bad decisions but its wtv, meaning,I think their actions of just assuming the contract was over and going against the court injunction was a bad idea and they deserve CRITICISM for it(not hate)

Lexie however left the group legally, pre debut, without drama, she talked it out with the company and probably had good reasons(the groups concept, the marketing strategies by hxg, sakura debuting etc)

before anyone says that "nwjns also had reasons but ador didn't left them leave!",be soo fr rn their reason almost always tied back to "we want MHJ back" which really shows how much she manipulated them, plus I'm like 80% sure they didn't even try to talk it out with the company

Older GG song recommendations

Hey! I'm looking for some song recommendations from 2-3rd(maybe even 4th) gen girl groups like

OH MY GIRL

Gfriend

SNSD

Twice

Wonder Girls

f(x)

I usually listen to any genre but I prefer calmer, sometimes cutesy,RnB type of songs, but not too slow ballads

some examples from my current groups:

impurities - LE SSERAFIM

Bahama - Aespa

Midnight fiction - ILLIT

The Chase - h2h

Sour grapes - LE SSERAFIM

Magnetic - ILLIT

Hot - LE SSERAFIM

By the examples,I think you can tell my ults are LSF which is an obvious sign I listen to a wide variety of genres

I'm not looking to stan the groups that I'm seeking recommendations for, just wanna be a casual listener

some songs I already know:

4 walls - f(x)

What is love - Twice

electric shock - f(x)

the boys - snsd

tell me - Wonder girls

Constructive criticism leading to hate trains

It's so hard to even criticise groups nowadays in the slightest

I've noticed that something that starts as constructive criticism and feedback by normal fans or people who just wanna share opinions, gives haters a chance to follow on and also share their "opinion" when it's just pure hate based on rumours, subjective things,or random and unnecessary arguments

Even just a slight criticism gives haters, who have been waiting for their feelings to be validated,a chance to continue throwing hate and labelling it as "criticism" even though they called the idol/group some insult in the same sentence and as lots of kpop fans do,they also follow along on this harassment without even trying to form their own opinion first or even checking if whatever is being is true or not

Basic assessment, critique, and opinions being shared by people snowballs into month or even year long hate trains, death threats,rap3 threats, and constant online bullying and backlash for the most baseless reasons ever imagined(especially on twt)

This has happened with wayyy too many groups and especially girl groups, specially ones with a more confident concept, realllyyy patriarchal I know

Some examples are like LSF all through 2024,and even now every so often, they first got criticism for live vocals, which I admit as a devoted fearnot, weren't the best but then it just spiraled out of control to the point they ha to turn off the comments for months and most members lost confidence in singing

Another example at the moment is katseye,I saw someone say its like people choose a new member to continuously hate on for a week and then move on to the next in a cycle, multiple times

aespa too, their hate is sooo on and off and while they have made some mistakes,as a human does, they have apologised

more examples I won't go into detail about include blackpink,enhypen,Twice,illit,t-ara,exo,bts,straykids etc

Now this obviously doesn't mean we should stop pointing out bad idol behaviour or just sharing our opinions that might be a bit negative,I js wanted to point this frequently occuring pattern out and try to bring awareness about toxic fans and hatees

Fav LE SSERAFIM song based on its meaning

I think most people do choose their favourite songs based on the genre od the most and their music taste rather than the meaning but most people also have a favourite song based on the meaning behind it

So,as a person who loves their songs and the meanings behind them aswell and their overall image,I'd like to know other fearnots favourite songs

Anything that maybe they relate with?

I personally love seeing analysing songs and their meanings and how we can use messages in songs to motivate ourselves so it'd be nice to see long explanations as to what your le sserafim song means and maybe an explanation as to how you might relate to it

I really loved yunjins explanation on their song celebration and Ash a while ago so I'm hoping for those kinds of explanations

My favourite: Eve, Psyche, and the Bluebeard's wife

I love how it talks about these three mythological women and how they "broke the rules" and seeked forbidden knowledge. It shows we should break unnecessary taboos and encourages, women especially,to be brave and escape the shell society might have trapped them in and fulfill their curiosity rather than staying silent

How to gain confidence in expressing myself

I'm a teenage girl(I don't wanna say my age) and I've,throughout my whole life, struggled with confidence

In the last few years,I started noticing it alot when others around me would be so free and I felt like I couldn't say anything without being embarrassed

Since I noticed,I tried to improve my confidence and it improved in lots of ways like just general small talks and being able to voice my problems and since, my life certainly has improved

However,I can't figure out how to boost my confidence when talking to people about instrests of mine that they might not share or if the interest is generally laughed upon,I don't always think that I'll be laughed at directly but I can always kind of feel it though I'm not sure if it's just me overthinking

I'm never able to express my interests or hobbies even if I'm asked about them,I usually kind of freeze up and say something general and/or non-sensible

And as a result of me not being able to express myself,I also (possibly) overthink that people will think I'm boring but that still doesn't encourage me ro talk about my interests

I've yet to figure what caused this since I figured out the reason I wasn't as confident in other areas of like but I just can't seem to figure it out

Also,no,usually quotes or simple, vague phrases don't help me in the moment. Yes,I get what they mean when they're said and I think "I'll have that in mind" but I never really do

I hope this doesn't seem like a random, stupid post about a teenager not being able to express herself, but trust me,it does make my life wayy harder

Iffy Iffy promo

Do you think iffy Iffy charting(anywhere) would make them promote it?I mean they really should it's an amazing song with the only problem that most people have is that it's too short and tho I agree,I really want them to promote it or any other b-side like saki maybe? Any song would fit since this album is absolutely amazing

I think this is what happened with epatbw too so it doesn't seem impossible for them to start promoting it and they have also recently posted a tiktok using iffy Iffy so maybe they're hinting at it?Any sort of promo would work honestly it doesn't have to be on any music shows
