Also, I'd love some advice from people who have done it:

• What is the trail actually like in May?
• How cold does it get at the campsites at night?
• What will be the washroom situation?
• What is a good trekking shoe that you would recommend for this kind of a trek?
• How many kilos should I ideally pack for a trek like this?

Any first hand tips would be really helpful
