How did you break the pattern of choosing partners who hurt you and finally learn to choose a life partner wisely?

I'm 34F and I'm seeing a painful pattern in my own life. I have almost always chosen the wrong partners. Partners who ended up hurting me, devaluing me, and making me feel like I had to earn love. In the moment I thought it was passion and that I just needed to try harder to be loved.

Right now I'm single and for the first time I don't want to jump into a new relationship just to avoid being alone. I really don't want to make this mistake again.

My main question is: How did you break the pattern of choosing wrong partners, and learn to choose a life partner wisely without repeating the same mistakes?

So I'm asking women over 30 who are now in healthy, long-term relationships or who have done the inner work:

  1. What red flags did you used to ignore that are now non-negotiable for you?
  2. How did you learn to feel the difference between being truly valued and just being used for your kindness?
  3. What actually helped you stop being attracted to people who hurt you? Was it therapy, books, something else?

I would be grateful for any honest experience and practical advice. Thank you so much for reading.

Shop critique request: almost one month on Etsy, recently did a full shop update

Hi everyone!
I’ve been on Etsy for almost a month, and I recently did a big update to my whole shop. I rewrote the shop info, refreshed the overall look, and tried to make everything feel more complete and consistent.

My shop:
https://yuzhankaatelier.etsy.com

I make handmade epoxy resin jewelry inspired by nature, preserved details, and small beautiful elements. I recently updated the shop more fully, and now I would really appreciate some honest outside feedback.

What motivated me to create this shop: I’m an artist, and handmade jewelry became a way for me to turn my ideas and love for detail into something tangible and meaningful.

What research I did before and after opening: I looked at other shops in my niche, read Etsy guidance, and tried to improve my presentation, shop information, and listings. One thing I learned very quickly is that even handmade products need a shop that feels clear, trustworthy, and well put together.

I’m genuinely looking for constructive criticism so I can improve.

  1. Does my shop look cohesive and trustworthy overall, or does anything feel unfinished or unclear?
  2. What should be my top priority right now: product photos, titles/tags, descriptions, pricing, or something else?

Thank you to anyone who takes the time to look. I’d be very grateful for honest and constructive feedback.

Does Pinterest help handmade sellers get sales?

Hi! I make handmade products and I’m wondering if Pinterest actually helps with sales. Has anyone here had real success selling handmade through Pinterest, or does it mostly bring traffic without many conversions?

Butterfly Relic Pendant - Handmade Resin Necklace with Real Butterfly Wing and Moss

After almost a year of making epoxy resin jewelry, I finally started posting it and trying to sell it. I put a lot of time, care, and emotion into these pieces, so sharing them feels both exciting and scary. It may be a small step, but for me it means a lot. ❤️

Real Dragonfly Wing Pendant - Handmade Resin Necklace with golden leaf and ✨

Hi everyone!👋

I’ve been an artist all my life, and almost a year ago I discovered epoxy resin, which quickly became a very meaningful part of my life.⚡️

My Little background story:
Since war in Ukraine began, I moved to Sweden. Nature here helped me find peace again, and through it I discovered a wish to preserve small beautiful things: leaves, textures, colors, tiny treasures, butterflies wings - into something special.✨

That’s how I found and started learning a completely new material for me for create jewellery and other pieces with its story and atmospher, I’m start creating with epoxy resin.🫶

I named my atelier «Yuzhanka i Skogen», and it’s brings together two worlds in one name. “Yuzhanka” means “a girl from the south,” reflecting my roots in southern Ukraine, and “i skogen” means “in the forest” in Swedish language, reflecting my new life here.☀️❄️

Almost a year later, this craft has brought me comfort, meaning, and hope.💎

And I’m really love to know what you think about it!🙂
