What episodes/series have you listened to multiple times?
I’ve probably listened to Rasputin like a dozen times (it’s my favorite), and I’m currently listening to MK Ultra for like the fifth time. Regular rotations include:
- L. Ron Hubbard/David Miscavige
- Aum Shinrikyo
- Jonestown
- The Black Death
- Survival in the Andes
- Mormonism
- Heaven’s Gate
- Manhattan Project
- USS Indianapolis
Lego Road Bike
Got the Lego road bike set for my birthday and built it today. Took about 5 hours with a few breaks in between for food and housework, but this was super fun to build, not nearly as complex as I thought it would be. Pretty damn cool final product.
Goodwill score - $1!!!
Got a 61W USB-C charger for $1, with the swappable adapter head, pretty stoked!
I WANNA DIP MY BALLS IN IT
Listening to the “Survival in the Andes / ALIIIIIIIIIVE” series and Ed just said it when they were talking about shoving everyone’s injured body parts into the snow. Probably still my favorite State sketch to this day.
Rather impressed with Neo speakers
Sure, they’re still tiny little laptop speakers, but for just sitting at my desk playing drum and bass compilations while I’m working, I’m not complaining. They really sound just fine.
This shot gives me chills
I honestly think it’s one of the best wide-angle shots in all of cinema. It’s liminal, beautifully framed, a little bit eerie, and so damn cool looking. It’s my favorite scene of the entire flick.
Major crankset upgrade to my 3T Strada
E1 Rival chainrings and E1 Force cranks to replace the D1 Rival boat anchors that came on it. The MucOff preload ring was kind of a pain the ass, but it matches their tubeless valve stems perfectly.
No stage 21 of the Giro on HBO Max?
Delightful. I pay double the price for the premium tier on HBO Max so I can watch the Giro and the TdF, but stage 21 of the Giro is just completely missing? Stage 1-20 all there, no stage 21. What gives?
Crankset upgrade on my 3T Strada
My Strada came with D2 Rival 12 speed, but I got a killer deal on the new E1 Rival chainrings and E1 Force cranks, so I Frankenstein’d them together.
I love the 8-bolt interface! The difference in weight is insanity, can’t wait to see how these feel.
TIL you can run DOOM on a Hammerhead Karoo
Found out from our SRAM rep today during a product clinic that you can run DOOM on a Hammerhead Karoo and program your shift buttons/Blips to run the controls in the AXS app. Anyone done it?

What’s your favorite LPOTL series?
I’ve been listening since about 2017, and to this day the RAAAAAAAAASPUTIN! series is still my favorite. I’ve listened to it all the way through at least a dozen times, if not more. I listen to it just about every time I finish another multi-episode series. It cracks me up up every single time.
Exhaust shop recommendations?
I was recently gifted a near-pristine ‘94 Ford Explorer with 88k original miles, but it’s throwing a CEL and I’m pretty sure it’s got a bad/clogged catalytic converter. I need to have that diagnosed and either replaced or just cut out/piped. Anyone have a good recommendation for a shop? Thanks!
‘94 Explorer XLT w/ 88k miles - CEL after a few miles
Hey all, I was just this weekend gifted a ‘94 Explorer XLT with 88k original miles (belonged to my grandmother) and slowly before I went down to pick it up from her, it started throwing a random CEL after driving for a few miles, which persists and also intermittently comes and goes.
Engine appears to run perfectly, admittedly feels a little bit like it’s chugging/stuttering, seems to be while the CEL is on, but I’ve only had it for a few days so it’s tough to pinpoint.
Where’s the best place to start, what can I check/inspect/clean that might be the likely culprit? Any help is appreciated!
Perched on this great little stand from IKEA, which also fits my company Lenovo box like it was made for it.
OneUp Carbon V2 risers, RaceFace Turbine in Orange to matchy-matchy with the rim strips (it’s pretty dark orange and looks red in this light), and Ergon grips, out exploring local parks and looking for hidden trails.
