For me, it's "work sucks, I know" from all the small things

I've played the cello for 2 years, and I am getting bored of it. When I first started with my cello, I knew that I would eventually transition to bass, I just wanted to learn how to read bass clef. I just got fitted for a bass, and I found out that the strings are diffrent. Any tips on how to get used to bass and how to put my cello skills to good use on my bass?

I'm a local, but i'm genuinely curious as to what are some things that you would say are puro San Antonio?

Yesterday, after taking off my pointe shoes, half of the nail on my pinky toe was kinda brown. A friend whos been en pointe for 6 years (ive been en pointe for 6 months) said that it was probably a bruised toenail, and that she "reduces" the pain by cutting her nail off. Whenever i put pressure on it, it feels like i cut my nail too short. Someone pls help.
