SO THIS IS FOR ALL RECRUITERS AND HR'S HERE
I personally experienced this, i have been through this as well. in this high inflation, do show some respect to candidates. i applied to jobs in lahore which is almost 130km away from my home since i belongs to a small City and no much jobs here. got selected and called for final interviews many times and went there ending to no response. in this month of september, i travelled almost 7 times just for interviews. Fulfilling all their requirements, On their calls, i went there as well, but after all interviews and finalization, they never think to respond. worst i have seen is they stop seeing messages as well. no yes, no, no final decision will we hire or not i mean one who is looking for job, travels by paying travel expenses of almost 2k per visit, 7 visits means almost 14k in travel expenses and 4k miscs,. yet these guys never even care to reply. i always inquire them that do let me know their final decision as i have to travel each time there and my whole day spent on this. even in one interview, i was even guided about all the things, they were agreed upon me, showed me their place of accommodation, finalized salary and when i reach back home, the very next day i asked them to join, they said wait, and then we are finalizing and then till now no reply from them.
so my point is, please handle things with care, not everyone is rich to afford such expenses everymonth. if you are finalizing such type of candidates, finalize it with care please. Thank you

i have to come from other city just because in my city their is no good laptop repair and parts shop and they are asking double the amount of repair and parts as they are saying k lahore se krwa kr deyngy and i don't trust them. In Hafeez center or any other place, suggest me a good laptop repair guy and parts shop a my laptop body is broken and i have to replace/repair the body asap.

i have been observing things even in this subreddit and other platforms where Hr post jobs and candidates apply there. many hr after receiving resume, stop responding at all.
Their first demand is either have such qualifications [degree] or experience in same department or job. few days ago i came across a job post, applied and got interviewed, she was a female interviewing me for a post of management. i had qualifications, gave all of her answers, and then she said i will proceed further with you in a while, and till today no answer at all. and when i researched about her, she was a BS English Graduate working as a hiring manager and interviewer for positions of Business managements and other roles.
i mean, what in the world can we say, they are tough on us candidates, but what about them? if they got the position they should behave and respond respectfully with new candidates as well.
baad mn reply na dena, respond na krna and, bilawaja delay krna, confuse krna these things are just an other kind of depression.

Making things short, we lost our father last month to liver cancer. our family has been suffering very badly from 2-3 months, i really need a job to at least provide some support now.

excellent in excel functions, know how to create sheets, data tabs, etc on excel.
worked as an assistant accountant for an industry but due to hospitalization of my father and all these i lost that as well.
Expert in book keeping, accounts and ledger maintenance, Accounts payables/receive ables, Makinf balance sheets, trial balance, financial sheets, profit loss statements of a company or any thing related to accounts, i can manage it as well.
a fluent english speaker and linked in manager, can post day to day updates, can generate business lead on linked in as well ocassionaly. can help in audits,, office operations or whatever basically

all these are responsibilities of administrative staff of an industry and i have worked there as well.

please don't ignore it guys, so i have this startup idea in my mind from 2 years and finally i have saved very little amount for it this year. what is the idea?
i will hunt premium quality thrift shoes from lahore, gujranwala or local vendors selling those shoes, i will pick bulk quantity of at least 20-30 pairs once, will clean them, sanitize them and make them free from dirt with myself using washable chemicals and machines if needed
size range will be between UK7-8-9.
i will sell them on local marketplace, to my friends, colleagues or intercity locals.
if the response get's good, i will increase my budget and time for this startup and it did'nt i will simply shut off this setup.

i am a quick learner, in start it may be difficult but i am sure i can now adjust to any place within a week. what i am bringing?
-I can manage accounts position, can use excel properly, though i am not an expert of it, but i am not an intermediate or the one who is blind of it, i know its basics to somewhat advanced skills, know how to create, adjust, maintain, sheets, balances, balance sheets, income statements, cashflow statements, day to day transactions, some formulas and keys as well.
-i can handle ledgers as well, AP/AR management, routine ledgers, day to day transactions, credits and debit ledgers, making of a trial balance and creating monthly reports as well.
- i can manage moderate HR operations and procurement. Hr operations includes using excel to maintain attendances of employees, generating and making Payslips as well, managing everyday shifts and making pay according to hourly or daily pay.
- i can be a good manager for stock as well, using excel i can make reports of stocks for a institute or industry, daily issue to dispatched reports of products, i can handle those as well.
-procurement from local suppliers, negotiating with them, and sourcing of essentials of an industry for day to day operations as well.
-moreover i am fluent in english, if not this, i can call, deal with international clients, cold calling or cold emails, managing queries of international buyers as well.
what i want?

Despite all of these skills and passion to earn, i am still unable to land a secure job at a place. i do have experience of maintaining accounts in 2 industries, but they were temporary and staff changed their. anyone have any links in lahore where they can adjust me in any type of industry management or accounts management, do consider your brother as i am goiing through hardest time of my life.

it's been almost 2 months since cancer took away my father in front of me. I was literally standing beside my father when he took the long last breath of his life. still to date, writing this makes me cry about him. Life without father is literally the most hardest thing one got to experience in early twenties. He worked all his young age to his mids and then late 50s, every single day he treated us well.
I was unable to understand my father, though i am in early twenties, i never spent much time with my father and now everything is regretting of me. Time is stopped for us, i have seen relatives change their face, i have seen people consolidating and asking to call them in need, but none of them actually can take place of my beloved father. i do visit their grave once or twice a week, and each time something stops me there for hours where i just sits and do nothing. i have 2 younger brothers and my mother is getting old day by day as well.
Everyone has a different life, some of you may enjoy the room, go with friends, have outings as well, but life isn't like that for everyone.
my advice is, if you have both parents then you are the most luckiest human of this world, spent as much time as you can with them, learn things from them.
do these things until one day you have to bury them with your own hands.
it will create a big hole, emptiness and darkness in life after them that will never be filled again.
please pray surah fatiha for my father's departed soul.

making things short, i did my graduation in plant sciences in 2024, since than, i have been doing different things. i worked as an assistant admin at an agricultural industry, this was managing the industry and work of accounts, then i started filing us taxes, did it's courses, filed taxes for 1 nd half year along with job, then i left the city and joined assistant to admin position at a textile industry, worked for like 3months and factory got closed for a reason, now i am sitting jobless with no income. wherever i submit my resume, i got rejection bcs of one big reason is your graduation doesnt match your experience, why don't you proceed plant sciences as a career. I hate my degree. i was just in need of a degree so i choose this and did it. now i am facing a major loss. how should i continue now?
i wan planning to enroll in MBA for non business graduates program but didn't due to fee issues.
please suggest me where should i turn now.
i have only a few months to decide career path now. or i will just left with nothing.

Hey everyone

I won't take much of your time, and won't even ask for any support or something, these are the words i found no place to express so i thought to express here.

This past june, i lost my father to cancer. For 3 months during all this, i was in high belief that Allah will do something and my father will get better as soon as possible. He was the strongest and the most kind man to us, he literally gave all of his life to raise us and when I completed my graduation, was looking to start a job soon, allah took away my father and he is no more to see us go ahead in life. I saw him in pain, weakness to days of not being able to walk, once he was the most powerful man of our family and within weeks he seems to be the weakest as he was in no strength to stand.

I'm glad that he's pain free and Allah had decided this for us but after that day, life is feeling meaningless to me.

For whom should i start a job?

Why would i live now when i wasn't able to return a single effort that my father did for us. Literally, we can never come even closer to our father's efforts to raise their children and family.

Please recite fatiha for my father and pray for his forgiveness.
