Mod Manager download button on Nexus opens my Vortex but the mods won't download

Hi folks! I've suddenly started having an issue today when trying to download mods from Nexus. The Mod Manager download button isn't working properly. It's worked just fine in the past but suddenly today it's having issues.

Important things to note:

- Yes, I have toggled the setting in Vortex that allows Nexus Mods to be managed

- I recently started using a Storywealth collection and I'm trying to add mods to it, is that the problem? Cause I've added mods to collections before but I don't use them often

- If Vortex is closed, pressing the button will open it but they just won't do the downloading.

- This issue persists with any mods I try to download

- Running OG version, of course, for SW

So I'm a tank main who just hit Plat in 5v5 but I'm struggling to stay in Gold in 6v6, what does that mean I could improve on/my weaknesses are?

Started playing with the release of the "new Overwatch". Started off maining support during season 1 to ease myself into the game and I swapped to my intended role of tank main halfway through last season. Since then, I've quickly climbed from high silver and into Plat much sooner than I'd anticipated. Only thing is, that's only in 5v5. Still high silver/low gold in 6v6... So, what does that mean exactly? Is there something specific this might point to or have I maybe just not figured out what exactly I'm supposed to be doing/how I'm supposed to playing in 6v6?

I main Sigma, but also play Roadhog, Ramattra, Dva, Zarya, Mauga and Domina. Thinking of adding Rein and Ball to my roster next season maybe

I added Domina to my lineup this season; am I just a noob or do most of her abilities feel underwhelming/awkward?

To be clear, I want to start by saying I'm enjoying playing her and I think she's great. I love her playstyle and her gun is incredibly satisfying to get kills with!

So firstly, her push. I think the damage is fine but what I find a bit annoying is just how short the range is. It feels like you have to be nearly touching the enemy for the push to actually happen. It threw me off a lot at first as I was getting used to her because there's a little wave effect/animation when she does it and the animation distance is noticably longer than the range that the push is effective at. It just feels awkward to use honestly because you have to be so close.

Secondly, I can't remember what the ability is called but it's her AoE exploding crystal thingy... It just feels a bit slow moving to me and the AoE is small so it feels like people just move out of the way before the damaging part of the explosion goes off. If they get caught in the first part of the animation they should just get pulled towards the center and I think that would make the cooldown much more effective. Now, I didn't realize until a day or 2 ago that you could snap to trigger it early and you don't have to wait for it to hit something and trigger on it's own so maybe if I learn to do that better it'll make a difference?

Lastly, her ult. This ult just feels useless. You have to land it within like 1.5m of enemies or something to actually hit them and then they just break out of it in 2 seconds and it does nothing. Now I know you can combo it with stuff like Zarya grav and get huge value but I don't feel like you should have to combo your ult for it to be effective. More than anything it just feels like a zoning ult that scares them off for a moment until the shield is broken. I barely secure any picks with it and when I do it's never been more than 1 hero, yet.

So uh, yeah... Do I just suck and need more practice or does anyone else feel like her abilities could use some tweaking?

Please be nice, I'm just trying to learn :)

How I'm feeling playing S3 so far

I really should just wait until everyone gets playing the new character out of their system

Only took nearly the entirety of 2 seasons but I started playing my intended role of a tank main and have just hit Gold! 🥰

I haven't played since early in OW1 but started playing again with the new OW. I wanted to tank but was nervous so I started on support the whole first season to adjust to the new game and only swapped to tank partway through this season and watched my rank sore. Guess tanking bullets and abilities with my face is my calling!

Hello! I'm a non-binary person wanting to learn how to do their makeup properly and I have a question about doing it with an AMAB face

So I have a bit of a conundrum... I'm AMAB and I haven't gotten the laser treatments for my facial hair done yet and I'm not sure when I'll be able to. In the meantime, I wanted to try using foundation to cover up my stubble after I shave as it's usually still a bit visible even after a fresh shave.

Obviously I know that's possible, but there's a bit of a snag... I have freckles on my face underneath my eyes/on my upper cheekbones and I LOVE my freckles. I would have more if I could and I don't want to cover them up. Is it going to look weird/off if I put foundation where my stubble is but nowhere else? Cause I feel like it would be noticeable... Anyone else have experience with only putting it on a particular spot on your face and know how to work around it?

I had a play session last night and after a few hours, I think the word "diff" was said in chat at least once in every match I played

What is people's obsession with this word? 6 matches and someone said this word every time. I've seen it used in other matches too but this has to be the first time it's been so consistent.

I really think it comes down to the different ways you can use it. Because sometimes people use it as a way to vent about their team being bad, blaming everyone else for us losing cause it can never be on them. Other times people use it to inflate their own egos by saying they "diffed" the players on the other team in the same role, especially if there was a mirror match.

It's not like I've never used it before but people just rush to type it in chat as if anyone actually gives a shit and it's weird. Do people actually feel this good about themselves cause they played a bit better than someone else? The worst part is when they say it even if it was a close match, though I know some people say it as a joke in that situation, it's just hard to tell.

What happened to creative shit talking? Does no one want to fuck my mom anymore?

If someone can't get along with cats, I see it as an immediate red flag

Edit: damn, really rustled some feathers with this one... Guys, there's nuance and gray areas to what I'm saying and it obviously doesn't apply in every situation. Y'all gotta chill

No, not because I think cats are the superior pet or anything like that...

Cats typically have a lot more boundaries than other animals and they usually aren't afraid of enforcing said boundaries. Other than that though they can be pretty easy-going and comfortable with people so if someone struggles to get along with cats in general then I'm assuming they aren't good at understanding and respecting boundaries, which to me is just a big red flag
