The shit I went through to get this record was totally worth it. UPS destroyed the first one but now I have it and it's glorious. Oh my God.

Aside from being a progressive metal masterpiece, this is hands down the most beautiful album I have in my collection. Relapse has outdone themselves.

I know somebody just posted this a few days ago but I just got mine and it is literally the beautiful album I own now.

Picked up Power Slave a few weeks ago and had to get the Ultimate Iron Maiden album to compliment it. So good!

Swapped out my 3" Sanyun SW208's which are great little speakers for some 4" R1280DB Edifiers and wow, what a difference. In terms of filling up the living room with sound these do a much better job. And while the Saynuns can thump, these are so much better at producing sustained base frequencies. These babies are on sale right now on your favorite online war mongering retail distributor.

This is my favorite Alice in Chains album and I was excited to finally add it to my collection. But man I am a little disappointed in the quality. The edge of both discs is extremely rough with excess jagged vinyl material. All four sides have an extreme amount of surface noise that improved slightly with some deep cleaning but is still present. And Frogs has a series of loud pops during the last half of the song that seem to be embedded in the vinyl as they happen in exactly the same places every time I play it.

I'm just wondering if anybody else has this pressing and what their experience with the quality was?

Just got back from 2nd & Charles. They were doing a buy three gets the fourth album free special. Not the best deal in the world, but I took advantage of it. Managed to finally get my first Death album. The Sound of Perseverance is my favorite but holy shit if this isn't a close second.

It rained through all of the Delirium set. Thank God my buddy got us some ponchos. It cleared up just in time for Primus. Despite the rain it was still a great show!

Came across a copy of Powerslave last weekend at the local shop. Hadn't had a chance to put it on the table yet. Decided to pump some iron while I give it a listen.

Just got this baby last night. Every song is a banger. Absolutely disgusting album cover. Can't wait to spin it this weekend!
