I think some people need to lower there expectations for initial relief of iron infusions

Just saying. Ive seen alot of people say "I got my iron infusion and felt amazing an hour later".. but unfortunately that's just not how the science goes. I would attribute that to placebo.

It is possible to feel it quicker if your hemoglobin is normal. In a few days, you may notice a slight uptick in energy. BUT

There's a process where the body needs to process new red blood cells from the iron. This is what takes the longest and why they say full relief may not happen until 6-8 weeks.

I just want people to understand because its a shame how misinformed the whole medical community is on anemia. I just recently started dealing with this and I cant believe how long it took to get caught.

Hope everyone is well on the road to recovery 🙏

Is two injection sites sufficient enough for once a week?

My doc said to just rotate my quads. I have a torn labral shoulder on the left side, and pinched nerve which causes tingling in the left thigh.

So i avoid my left side altogether. I am currently doing once a week; rotating delt and quad.

Is this enough or should i try glutes as well

I never knew what low iron did to someone and I wouldn't wish it on ANYONE

To sum it up, after a year of not knowing what was wrong with me; the hematologist tested my iron.

Having low iron made me worry about things that in my 36 years of living, I wouldn't bat an eye. I was scared to shower for fear of passing out.

I couldn't do anything physically. Caused weight gain, tiredness.. not being able to breath had doctors trying to treat my asthma when it was under control the whole time.

I got 4 iron infusions and finally on my way to recovery. Still need to get my Endoscopy.. BUT

Slowly each day, I feel like im starting to get my life back. My brain fog is pretty much gone and i feel clearheaded again. Hang in there ❤️

I have less PIP doing quads than delts

I use a 27g 5/8" on the delts. My quad had pretty much had no PIP. Ive done delts 3 times and the PIP is always worse there than the quad. Maybe its just my body getting used to the oil?

Long post. Was anyone's pain isolated to the low pec? That's my only pain and I don't feel its from the tear

First off, I want to thank you for taking the time out and need an opinion. Maybe someone seen something similar and I will get lucky.

I have asthma. Gained weight in the last 2 years from inactivity and chest pain.

Anyway, 2 years ago I started having a dull, achy pain in my left pec, say 2 inches under my armpit.

At first I was admitted to the hospital where i did stress test, ekg, ultrasounds and the whole workup. I was cleared from a cardiology stand point.

I was referred to a ortho where it was found i have a shoulder labral tear. 2 orthos agree that my pain is strange and isn't typical to where a labrum tear would be. So they dont want to do surgery. They said fixing the labrum wouldn't fix the pain in my pec.

I had enlarged chest lymph nodes and a spleen which self healed.

I had a right kidney nodule which was found benign.

I caught pnemonia twice and healed.

Now i have low test as well as low iron which I am addressing with colonoscopy, Endoscopy and iron infusions.

Anyway, is it possible something is causing this chest pain and its NOT the tear? It has been on and off and usually gets aggravated with physical activity.

Did you have pain localized to the pec?

Please. If you have any ideas I would LOVE to hear them. Thank you.

Can I train my 3 year old lab? She still pulls a little on the leash. The trainer im using is having me use a gentle lead and she hates it. Switch to prong?

Long story short, my lab is very high energy and when we go outside she wants to book it. She's gotten a little better over the years but there is still those times where she pulls.

I hired a trainer who has us using a Martingale collar on her as well as a gentle lead on her face. It does stop the pulling but she hates it. The trainer has me throwing high value treats at her whenever she tries to take it off..

Anyway, I just dont see how this is going to teach her unless I just keep using the gentle lead the rest of her life.

I was going to try another trainer byt there expensive and I dont wanna end up in the same situation.

Would it be okay to switch to a prong collar and try that? Really need advice.

Honest question. Why do these doctors seem hesitant to prescribe TRT? Did you experience the same thing?

Out of curiosity. 36 male 260lbs. My test is right under 100. My LH/FSH, Prolactin, estradiol, sex horm serum, and albumin have all tested normal.

Ive explained my symptoms, lethargy, irritable, muscle aches, low sex drive..

My urologist checked my prostate and testes today and said they are fine. He won't prescribe TRT and said to go to a endocrinologist now.

I spoke with my primary and she was suprised that he didn't prescribe TRT.

Is this normal for doctors especially urologists who don't want to prescribe TRT? Surely it's a proven medicine for low testosterone.

Not getting ANY bites in pressured ponds.

Am i just SOL? Ive been using a Texas rig 80% of the time with senkos and creature baits.

Ive caught maybe 5 bass in 15 sessions. Its getting pretty frustrating. Im currently up north and used to fishing down south.

Any ideas or tips? Considering switching to a carolina rig
