Whenever I tell Siri to “wake me up” it creates a duplicate alarm
Whenever I use Siri to set an alarm it creates a duplicate entry. I went to manually create an alarm and found I have hundreds of duplicates from over the years.

I wanted an RPG that respected my time, so I built one.
Couch x Crawler is basically Tamagotchi meets D&D. Your hero keeps exploring dungeons while the app is closed, and when you come back you collect loot, level up, care for your adventurer, and send them back out.
The game recently reached #2 in the Entertainment category on the App Store, which has been surreal as a solo indie developer.
Some of the things it includes:
Passive dungeon crawling while you’re away
Character care inspired by virtual pets
Equipment, perks, relics, and progression
Widgets and Live Activities on iOS
No ads, energy timers, or battle passes
One of the most rewarding parts of building it has been improving accessibility after hearing from blind and low vision players. Their feedback led to major VoiceOver and TalkBack improvements because accessibility shouldn’t be an afterthought.
To celebrate, it’s on sale for July.

Hi everyone! I’m the solo developer of Couch x Crawler, and I wanted to share that it’s $1 for the month of July (normally $4.99).
It’s a premium game with a one-time purchase. No ads, no subscriptions, and no energy timers.
The idea is “Tamagotchi meets D&D.”
Your hero keeps adventuring even when you’re not playing. You check back in to collect loot, upgrade your build, care for your adventurer, and send them on their next expedition. Your equipment, perks, relics, and choices all affect the outcome.
Over the past few months I’ve also been working with blind and low vision players to improve accessibility. The game now includes extensive TalkBack support on Android, along with many accessibility improvements inspired by community feedback.

Also this came up in another post, but I made all of the art and music/sfx - not made by AI.
Hi everyone,
A little while back I posted about my indie idle RPG, Couch x Crawler, and asked for feedback from disabled gamers, especially blind and low vision players.
First, thank you. The feedback I got from this community and from other accessibility-focused spaces has been genuinely helpful. I realized pretty quickly that “technically labeled” is not the same thing as actually playable, understandable, or comfortable to use.
I’ve been working through that feedback and just released a much larger update.
What changed:
The game still uses the built-in iOS and Android accessibility systems rather than a custom screen reader layer, but I’m trying to be much more intentional about how every screen reads, how focus moves, and whether the game makes sense without relying on visuals.
I’m still learning, so feedback is very welcome. I’m especially interested in:
The game is on iOS and Android:
iOS:
https://apps.apple.com/us/app/couch-x-crawler/id6758249866
Android:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tristannohrer.couchxcrawler
It is a paid game, but if the price is a barrier and you want to test accessibility, feel free to message me and I can provide a code when I have some available.
Thanks again to everyone who pushed me to take this more seriously. I’m a solo dev, so I’m not going to get everything right immediately, but I really do want Couch x Crawler to be playable by more people.
A few months ago I posted Couch x Crawler here after realizing it wasn’t nearly as accessible as it should have been.
Many of you gave feedback, shared your experiences, and pointed out barriers I hadn’t considered. I wanted to come back and say thank you.
Since that post, accessibility became a major focus of development. Version 2.0.0 included improvements to VoiceOver support, Voice Control support, Reduced Motion, spoken feedback for mini games, better navigation, improved labels and hints throughout the game, audio improvements, and a long list of usability fixes.
This week Blind Gamer Steve reviewed Couch x Crawler on YouTube, and it was incredibly rewarding to see those features being used by someone they were built for.

There is still more work to do and many more updates coming shortly, but I wanted to thank this community for helping make the game better.
For anyone unfamiliar with Couch x Crawler, it’s a premium idle RPG where your hero keeps adventuring even when you’re not playing. Think Tamagotchi meets D&D. No ads, battle passes, or energy systems.
As always, if you’d like to try the game but cost is a barrier, send me a DM and I’ll make sure you get access.

I built Couch x Crawler because I was getting burned out by mobile games that constantly demanded attention, pushed subscriptions, or tried to monetize every interaction.
It’s a premium one-time purchase idle RPG that’s sort of a mix between a Tamagotchi and a light DnD-style adventure game.
Your character continues adventuring even when the app is closed. You come back later to see what happened, manage gear and stats, play mini games, unlock badges, and send them back out again.
Features:
• One-time purchase
• No subscriptions
• No ads
• No energy systems
• No battle passes
• iOS Live Activities and Dynamic Island support
• Mini games
• Multiple zones and progression systems
I’ve also recently been working on accessibility improvements including VoiceOver support, Voice Control-friendly controls, and reduced motion support.
Price: $4.99 one time purchase

A while back I shared my small indie game Couch x Crawler here and the response honestly meant a lot to me:
https://www.reddit.com/r/cozygames/s/BAiq9WGHr0
Since then I’ve continued updating the game and just released the Android version.
The core idea is still the same: what if your RPG hero kept adventuring even when you were busy?
You send your hero out on expeditions, put your phone down, go live your life, and come back later to see how your choices played out. It is designed for people who like RPG progression but do not always want another grind.
Recent updates include:
Mini games now earn XP
Mini games can be played during expeditions
New badges and progression systems
Secret encounters and hidden surprises
Ongoing UI and quality-of-life improvements
It is a one-time purchase with:
No ads
No subscriptions
No microtransactions

Thanks again to everyone here who gave feedback, encouragement, or even just checked it out the first time around. It genuinely helped shape the direction of the game.
Long story short I made a social media platform about eating bananas.
I built this because I was feeling really burnt out from work.
A lot of days I would finish and feel like I did nothing, even if I actually did small things. My brain would just ignore them.
So I made something really simple.
That Counts lets you write down one thing that mattered each day. That’s it.
No habit tracking
No AI
No accounts
No tracking
Everything stays on your device.
Over time it becomes a small record that your days actually counted.
App Store:
https://apps.apple.com/us/app/that-counts-today/id6764123247
I’ve got Android coming soon and just submitted an update where you can attach a photo to each entry.
Would appreciate any feedback.
This started from burnout more than anything.
Work was draining me to the point where after I finished, I would just sit around and do nothing. Then I would feel like I wasted the whole day.
That feeling stacked up over time.
I didn’t want another productivity app or habit tracker. Those just made it worse for me.
So I built something intentionally small.
You open it and write one thing that counted today.
That’s it.
It helped me realize that even on bad days, something usually still mattered.
I turned it into an app called That Counts.
https://apps.apple.com/us/app/that-counts-today/id6764123247
No AI, no tracking, no accounts. Everything stays on your device.
Android version is coming soon, and I just submitted an update that lets you attach a photo to each entry.
Still figuring out how to describe it since it’s not really productivity and not really journaling.
Thinking about doing a few other characters like this.
