Thrift store finds $1.69. Total of 6 no chips. Anyone know what these are… besides glowy goodness? Thanks for looking!

Clearly I’m not a photographer 😉 are these intended for beverage or dessert? Thanks!

A picture of one I pick up for! 2 bags of trash and a bucket of cans.

A sweet heron - I like to think the critters appreciate our efforts 🤗After a huge storm I had to go out a bit. Always something to get!

Driving on an errand and spot a big styrofoam piece at the curb - on way home husband stops for me to pick it up! 🤗

I think I’m wacko but foam grinds my gears!

My garage has been Stinky!! Turns out my trash pick up buckets needed cleaning!

I prefer to carry litter buckets lined with grocery bag. Tuck recycling in bucket, trash in bag. Buckets were awful and reeked! 😳🤦‍♀️I launder my gloves and yellow vest often better step up the buckets now too! Happy picking everyone!

I’ve seen several posts about juicers- does anyone use these old school style? It’s perfect for 1-2 ounces imo.

Per the rules- Saturn ( I like over ice)
3/4 oz lemon juice
1/2 oz passion fruit syrup
1/4 oz orgeat
1/4 oz Falernum
1 1/4 oz London Dry Gin

Build in shaker, fill with cracked ice, shake and strain into coupe. If you are talented- make Saturn rings with lemon… if not peel and toss in glass. Delicious and refreshing. Thanks for reading

Beet greens! Not sure what or how to eat 😬will compost some…

We grew beets to pickle and can but I don’t want to compost all the tops. I’m a fan of southern collards but my prep of them has never been good. Tips for beet greens? Dehydrate for smoothies?! Thanks everyone!
EDIT: forgot to search this sub- thanks for all the tips appreciate the time you all took for me!

Have you changed any habits or altered behaviors in any way since you started picking litter?

I do Everything I can to Never use a straw. I resist eating fast food but that’s not always easy - my husband and I do not ever get lids or straws if we get a drink. I do not tear up paper - those wee little pieces make me bonkers and we jam all paper in a box or paper bag. No bottled water unless impossible to avoid. Most of all we securely tie up bags. Around here the trash/recycling trucks dump over head and pieces fly out. Doing my best to limit that. Thanks for reading! And be safe out there!!

Yesterday’s tidying up. Hot but done. Today drove down the road. Litter again. 🤬🤬🤬overnight pigs.

Getting mentally exhausted with the same old crap on the same road. It’ll pass and I’ll clean it up again…. But need a venting atm. 4 grocery bags and a bucket of recycling. Thanks for reading!

My special mugs get used differently than intended.

Retired flight attendant and these were the cities I was based in. Plants are in their own pot that fit perfectly in my mugs! Thanks for looking.

I save a fair amount of my pick ups to recycle. Yesterday I got rid of it. Thanks for looking.

I guess I didn’t take a picture 🤦‍♀️but styrofoam - Dart Co takes it back and a local electronics hazmat near by. Put the scrap metal at the curb! I do my best to separate and dispose of properly.

Finally a less hot and smoky day in the Midwest!

Been way too long - I love a trash walk and have missed due to 90’s and horrible smoke in the air. Booze bottles and lots of paper. I swear my mood improves with a quick walk and pick! Happy picking everyone!
