More on the Jay Christopher King allegations: Kelly finally posted

Trigger Warning, it does get deep in the weeds but not specific.

Please respect that this is coming from someone who has had a very bad experience with Jay and isn't even really sure she understands it yet. She said she wasn't ready but she put this out in case others have gone through the same thing.
Apparently Jay is now divorced and these issues (Kelly is not the only one) were the reason.

Rude comments demanding details will be reported and blocked.

The beginning portions of this article/video are well researched, and the implications in the broader community are really mind-blowing. Kelly is one hell of a writer!!

Daily Reflections type BOOKS?

A long time ago I used to be in a couple of 12 step programs and really enjoyed starting my morning with a small reading...but most of those are now too addiction focused as well as major religion focused.

Does anyone have a favorite daily contemplation type book that they love? Bonus points if it's Animist, Druid, Witchy, or Wheel of the Year focused, but Pagan in general would work too.
But NOT guided meditations and not audio/video/web based, I'm looking for physical books... I searched but am not finding much...

Edit to add: I have the Witches Almanacs but was looking for something that's more a quote or 1 paragraph based. TY!

Going Back to Work-Are You Terrified of Getting Sick

I've had MCAS for over 2 years and slowly slowly things have gotten better. I think mine is a gut/immune/allergy issue and I've been working on diligently.
I also at some point at a COVID antibody test and after 2 years with no boosters, it was still maxed out, and I don't know if that's a sign my immune system is over-working or under working. Even my immunologist said they just don't know.

I really NEED to go back to work but I'm legit terrified because a year ago I got bad influenza A at my chiropractors office and I was sick for A MONTH. Also I had to have a tooth pulled and the dentist said I should be fine in a week but it took me nearly 2 weeks to feel better. My body just reacts strongly to any assault. I even organize things to grocery shop early Sunday mornings because I don't like crowded stores.

So how do I work? Most jobs require interfacing with the community and, let's just say I'm in an area where it's likely that people won't be cautious about spreading germs... I don't know if I have the skills to work from home...

I'm just wondering if anyone has any insight, or if you were scared to go back as well....

Probiotic needed daily?

I'm not even sure how to search for this subject but
I was under the impression that if you add in good foods, fiber, prebiotics and take probiotics that sooner or later they would "grow" on their own and you wouldn't need to supplement so much.

I have found one probiotic mixture (capsule form, not refrigerated) that drastically helps my insomnia (which was a pleasant surprise!) but I have to take them DAILY. It's really a matter of if I eat wheat, I have to take one or my insomnia will be gnarly.

The supplement contains:
Bifidobacterium infantis, Bifidobacterium bifidum, Lactobacillus salivarius, Bifidobacterium longum, Bifidobacterium lactis, Lactobacillus plantarum, Bifidobacterium breve.

I'm not sure if I need to feed those critters more good stuff, or if they aren't reproducing, like the supplement is dead?

I'm researching what to be sure to eat to encourage them but am not sure if this is a case of the supplement being dead (but still effective) or me not feeding them right.

Tooth Extraction or Minor Sugery-How did your MCAS do?

I just had two teeth extracted and after five days the tooth area got swollen and I was feeling kind of bad. Went to a doctor (on US Memorial Day) and then back to the dentist yesterday, and the dentist said it looked just like it was supposed to. I had bombed myself with heavy garlic/oregano chicken soup Monday night hoping that would help some.
The doctor had prescribed an antibiotic, but I need corn free and I can't find that so I'm going to another doctor tomorrow, but I honestly don't know if what my body is feeling a reaction to a pretty major insult on my body or if it's infection. (No temperature, no swelling)
My MCAS was mild and had been getting better for over a year, but it definitely feels like it's taken a hit.
If anyone has had two extraction or minor surgery, did you just lay low and be really kind to your body for a couple of weeks?
I'm supposed to have two more sets of extractions, but I put the second set off another week. It's weird that I just can't identify what's going on.
Not looking for medical advice, just what others did/felt in the moment.

Oh I GET it now! (The Finale, last few seconds)

>!I was confused about the gasp at the very end but NOW I get it. !<

>!Adawehi said she wouldn't come into her FULL power until her hair was FULLY white, which only happened just before she and Jaime gasped. !<

>!Think about it, just like Master Raymond re-enlivened Faith with his magickal powers, and just like Claire (for the first time when she had a little white in her hair) sent that blue light into the 2nd twin and re-enlivened that baby....!<

>!She laid down next to Jaime (while he was off being a ghost for a bit) and gave it everything she had. She remembered in her grief that she had that power and she re-enlivened Jaime, and woke up with fully white hair, finally the real "Dame Blanche"! !<

Sooooo...more to come? I can't help but think that Fanny >!cracking that emerald !<was a sign of something to come....I hope so...

Composition with multiple landscapes on one wall?

This is a question about composition-not of one painting but of a whole wall...
I don't want tons of pictures but I want a horizontal (landscape oriented) landscape painting of some sort on my main wall, but there is a depth difference (a line) in the middle of the wall requiring that I put the large painting/art/poster to left side and 2-3 smaller ones to the right side.

My question is, would it look weird if both the large painting and all of the smaller ones were ALL landscape subjects? Maybe even same color scheme?

The reason I'm asking others opinions is because to me, this looks wrong. It seems like your eye should land on the biggest landscape and enjoy it.
This seems better because your eye lands on the center landscape.

My proportions and composition are going to be more like THIS but notice that the two smaller photos are black and white-so not stealing the show from the big painting.

Does anyone have any thoughts? And yes I get that I should "do what I like" but some things still look off to me....Composition matters...

This is why we love these guys!

Well besides the fact that they're amazing musicians!

Someone filmed the very end of the Brixton concert and I wanted to type out here what was said, because, Y'ALL THIS IS THE WAY! This is why we love them.

Ren speaking with all 5 guys at the stage front:

>I’d like you all to remember this feeling of all coming together for something, to enjoy something together.
Because the world is slowly becoming a more polarized and more divided place and it’s moments like this which fight against it.
And in a time where hyperpolarization is the culture, COUNTER-CULTURE is coming together.
So this is counter-culture, this is real, this is what the world is more.

I know that others have posted about the importance of getting your teeth checked out. For me I've been diagnosed with MCAS and POTS for two years, and somehow dental work fell to the bottom of my list and just today I went to see a really good dentist.

I have two bridges on the top (front & left) and a tooth on the top right that has decay and bone degeneration. When I talk to him about MCAS, infection, and POTS he said that it is quite possible that this is causing infection.
He also said I have a tooth on the bottom left that needs either a root canal or pulling. He said that the damage is into the nerve.

What's really interesting here is I have had some sort of nerve pain and numbness on the bottom left down into my neck and face since my MCAS began. I have also had swelling under my jaw on the right side where the bone degeneration and possible infection are.

I'm almost happy because for him to see this from a dental aspect when I've been feeling it for two years is huge, and I think it may have a lot to do with my MCAS. I really feel like this is going to make a big difference.
Yes, I'm going to end up with partial dentures because I don't want to do implants. But I'm fine with that if it means getting rid of the infection and nerve damage that's been happening.
I'm just kind of floored that he pinpointed everything I've been thinking & feeling.

I will try to remember to come back and update. Everything should be done by June 2.

But if any of you at all think you may have dental issues, get them checked out now!
Don't wait until you've seen all the other doctors.
Also gut health, but that's another post.
