Between my Wave+ and galvanox bit kit, I had everything I needed to change the old oil in my trimmer
Loving the Smokey Bear Blue skies edition from Vero.
Wears very well and feels light on my 7 inch wrist. Being 4mm smaller diameter, it feels as light as my titanium Citizen Garrison.
The leather strap is very nice. I haven't switched to the NATO that's supplied yet.
I currently run a plm axle back and remark resonated mid pipe. It sounds good, I get compliments, it crackles and pops.
I do miss it sounding more awake some times and considering the non res portion of the mid pipe.
My question: does the sound quality of the stock, non res mid pipe, equal or similar to the 3 inch diameter non res mid pipe? Or do I get a nicer tone, maybe less drone with the larger diameter of the aftermarket non res mid pipe?
Has anybody opted for these options instead of the leatherman branded one?
ETA: forgot to do a search. I see some of y'all HAVE used galvonox.
Forgot to post this. Never see WRX near me, let alone modded ones.
Looking to put the pocket clip on. Does the Leatherman brand one wobble on the wave plus or is it just in the surge?
Considering changing the hardlex to sapphire. I got a quote from a highly reviewed jeweler local to me in Kennesaw, Ga "starting at $65".
My question is: this seems like a fair price, should I be concerned about gasket changes or water resistance afterwards? It's a relatively newer watch
Hello, I've been looking at getting into competitive shooting. I'd like to try and just gain skills that I can maybe carry over to defensive carry and practical shooting. I'll likely start with my Tisas 1911 DS Duty with red dot and/or my Beretta 92xi irons only.
I plan on signing up on practiscore
I've got a few questions:
Where can I look to read/learn about different competitions/types/classes?
My local range does bowling pin challenges, is this something good to start with?
What do you wish you knew about competition shooting early on?
My biggest concern regarding cost: IF I really get into competitive shooting, what should I expect, or what do you, spend monthly on 9mm ammo if I train once per week (if that's even enough)? I currently go to the range 2-4 times per month. I'm sure this will depend on frequency of training and how much ammo you go through, etc.
Would you recommend AGAINST using one of my primary carry/defensive weapons (Beretta 92xi) for competition? I figured if I need to replace components from wear, it'd be easy and cheap enough. The tisas 1911 DS Duty is likely to become a range/competition gun and I can take the optic off if I didn't wanna shoot optics.
Open to any other/more info.

For those who've shot both, how's the recoil impulse and smoothness of each compared to each other? This would be for self defense conceal carry.
Thanks
Never shot before.
Looking at Amazon prime deals and these three stood out.
Can any of them double at an engine bay detailer? I figure the megs can be since it's an APC and not advertised as an interior cleaner
I purchased a Taurus TX22 TORO for plinking/range toy early last year from KYGUNCO. It came with 5 mags and a viridian green dot. I've put thousands of rounds through the gun already. It's a great gun that only has FTF/hang ups with 2 or 3 of the mags so I don't use them unless I'm training "clearing malfunctions". A couple weeks ago, the green dot died. Fine, hit up viridian, and they sent me a pre paid label, no questions asked except a pic of the optic and my shipping info. It was about a week turn around between me shipping it and receiving the replacement.
While I'd never trust a viridian on a duty or defensive firearm, the service was nice and I'd probably always opt for a cheaper optic in this range for a little range toy.
I also installed a Tandemkross front sight since the OEM fell off. I think it's a little taller than OEM but it'll be fine.
My daily wear is the gw9500mry1a9 mudman but I wear this square on the weekends during yard work, car work/detailing, and when on call at the hospital.
It's so light and perfect for this. Both g shocks have been through many rounds of CPR. This still has the polishing compound from Wednesday polishing and ceramic coating my WRX.
I have a NATO strap on it with the Jay and Kay adapter
I see stomach posting is back. Here's my Rat Fink from Nov. 2025 done by @ vinnytattoos at Portal Tattoo Gallery in Woodstock, Ga.
I'm considering either Paper Mario TTYD or SMB Wonder.
I understand they're different genres, but I played the original Paper Mario TTYD many years ago when it released, and I loved it.
But having a 2d platformer as a pretty chill game as a break from silksong is really enticing, too.
Which one would you say has the best story and "charm" or "character"?
I hate how hard it is to tell on a white car but it's pretty in person😂😅
My co-worker is considering CCW, and is wanting to use a SW shield (1st Gen before the shield plus) her husband had but probably never shot. She says it was stored with the safety lock (locked back) that comes with firearms for years. I disassembled, wiped down (was pristine/dry), and lubed it.
We shot a combo of Fiocchi and Herters. The herters would have a primer strike but no bang every 8-10 rounds. No such issues with the fiocchi. It would also fail to go all the way forward into battery sometimes.
Is the failure to go forward into battery from the firearm being stored locked back for God knows how long?
