Pagani Design PD-1731 — pretty decent.

I replaced the bracelet with a Jubilee-style bracelet made by a Japanese company called Bambi.

Found an AliExpress Jubilee bracelet that works with the Seiko [SBTH007]

I found this Jubilee bracelet on AliExpress and wanted to share it.

I used the 20mm version. I was able to reuse the original Seiko end links, though I also tried reusing the original clasp and that didn’t work.

Overall, it looks pretty nice.

It’s not perfect, but for the price, I’m pretty happy with it.

San Martin SN0144 36mm — one year later

I’ve had my San Martin SN0144 36mm for about a year now, and I really like the watch. I’ll attach some photos too, because I think it looks great.

That said, when I first got it, the inside of the bracelet rubbed against my wrist and was pretty uncomfortable. It wasn’t unwearable, but it definitely bothered me.

I ended up polishing the inside of the bracelet quite a lot with a stainless steel polishing cloth, and after that it became much more comfortable to wear.

I’m not trying to bash San Martin — I like the watch overall. Maybe I’m just more sensitive to sharp edges than most people, but I’m curious if anyone else had the same experience with the bracelet.

[SRPK29/SBSA225] Uncle Strap bracelet installed

I installed an Uncle Strap bracelet on my Seiko 5 SRPK29 / SBSA225.

Sharing three photos for anyone wondering about the fit. The case, dial, and movement are all OEM Seiko; only the bracelet has been changed.

At first, the underside of the bracelet was a bit uncomfortable for me, so I polished the underside myself with a stainless steel polishing cloth. In Japan, a similar product is sold as “Polymarl.” After polishing, it no longer hurts and feels much better on the wrist.
