So LC says she was overcome with anxiety, exhausted from lack of sleep, and suffering from PPD but then gets rid of the nanny?!

Now that we know her and PC decided she wasn't going to go back to work and she was going to be a SAHM, I'm assuming money wasn't an issue so I can't wrap my head around why would you get rid of the person helping you with your children if you're going through so much mentally. Maybe down the road but it seems odd she told all of this to the nanny and then didn't keep her on if she was struggling as much as she claimed.

Does this make sense to anyone else?

If she was truly in the grip of postpartum psychosis, how did every single person around her, including multiple doctors, miss it? Usually it's the people around someone who recognize they've lost touch with reality because the person often lacks insight themselves. Then one day she just has an "episode" and kills her kids. I don't buy it.

Is the prosecution expected to present a motive?

I personally believe she is guilty, so this isn’t meant to debate that. What I can’t understand is why. If she knowingly killed her children, what would she have thought she’d gain from it? I’m wondering if the prosecution is expected to explain what they believe her motive was during the trial, or if they can get a conviction without ever establishing why they believe she did it.

What’s your holy grail razor?

I typically shave my legs every day and I’ve tried so many different razors over the years, but none of them seem to give me a really close shave. I also deal with irritation and razor burn from time to time.

I’m open to men’s or women’s razors, safety razors, electric, whatever actually gives a super close shave without irritating your skin.

Trying to choose between Valentin Imperial or Excellence Riviera Cancun.

I’m open to other recommendations too. It’s going to be mid November, just my boyfriend and I for 4 nights. We are in our mid 30s. Beach and food/drinks are super important!

Cancun weather in October and November?

Wondering if anyone has experience traveling either of those months and what it was like? I’m worried about rain in October but it’s also much cheaper so just trying to weigh my options.

Trying to decide between visiting in October or November.

It’s a lot cheaper end of October vs mid to end of November but worried about weather? Anyone ever travel in October and how was the experience?

How are you making your place smell so good all the time?

I use candles occasionally, but I want to come home and have my apartment already smell nice.

I’m open to literally everything: reed diffusers, oil diffusers, incense, wax melts, room sprays, plug-ins, whatever.

Drop your holy grail products, favorite scents, and best tips. I want my apartment to smell like a luxury hotel, not just for 2 hours after I light a candle.

What restaurants are a must for a first time visitor?

I’m going to be in River North on Thursday for 4 days and looking for the best places to eat/drink and a rooftop bar would be pretty cool too. Also willing to go outside of River North area. Thanks in advance!

Hair color help!

I had my hair colored dark brown professionally in February. It was semi-permanent color. It was supposed to be a cool-toned brown, but it has faded to a reddish/warm brown that I really don’t like. It’s been over 16 weeks, and I wash my hair almost daily.

My natural hair color is a cooler neutral brown and doesn’t have warmth naturally.

My stylist keeps telling me she can’t get me to a cool-toned brown and that I’ll never be able to have cool blonde highlights. I understand if it would take multiple appointments or a color correction process, but the word “never” is what’s confusing me.

I’d appreciate any professional insight.

Bored almost all the time

I’ve been at the same job for almost eight years, and although I was promoted a couple of years ago, I’ve honestly never felt more bored. I work in insurance for a medical office, and when things are slow, I end up with a lot of downtime. I graduated from college in December and have been trying to find a new opportunity, but I haven’t had much luck so far.

I usually read on my Kindle to pass the time, but it’s difficult because my office is basically a glass cubicle with almost no privacy. At first, the downtime didn’t bother me, but lately I’ve been feeling pretty down and unproductive most days. I’m trying to figure out some better ways to stay engaged and make the time feel more meaningful while I’m at work. What are some things I could do to help pass the time?

Is my boy a Turkish Van?

It’s been close to a year since I got him, and he’s gotten twice as fluffy! Some people say he looks like he could be Maine Coon but I can’t tell.

Litter recommendations

I use World’s Best now cause it’s low dust and one of my cats has asthma but the odor control is driving me crazy even with scooping twice daily. I have 3 cats, so I need something reasonably affordable. What’s worked best for you?
