megan and honestly all of katseye seems so happy recently!!

megan was so giddy and cheery in the live for animal, and i could really only focus on her because of it. it’s nice to seem them be happy and cheerful after these lashings they’ve been getting for the past what, 8 months? especially megan since she tends to be more quiete and awkward during interviews, it’s very reliving to see them actually enjoying themselves and being friends!

manon from katseye’s lashes

does anyone have any idea what style of lashes manon tends to wear? they make her eyes look so good and i’m envious. the first few are obviously lashes but the last three may be mascara or really good natural looking clusters

manons eyelashes, this isn’t kpop i know but idk who else would really be able to know about this

katseye on snl lmao stay with me

okay okay i know it’s snl, but hear me out. i’ve been seeing clips from old snl episodes on my fyp lately, and i’ve seen so many well known faces pop up. for example ive seen ms grande, bad bunny, and even paul mccartney. but on top of that ive also seen a lot of new and fresh music guest appear like ice spice when she first broke onto the scene, olivia rodrigo during the drivers license era, and even huntrix lmao. idk if it’s too late in their breakout era but does it seem possible for katseye to ever be on snl?? i feel like that will aid drastically in pulling them away from the “k-pop” label and be able to be more of a western girl group like little mix or fifth harmony. it’d also expose them to a much broader audience and potentially cement them as artists (yes i know they don’t make their own songs so technically they aren’t artists, pls don’t lecture me on that) and get them into bigger and better spaces, yknow? and plus it’d be cool for my dad to finally get familiar with them lmao

may be a reused take, but your fav 100% got surgery and there’s nothin wrong with that

i’m remembering some discourse earlier this year about wonhee (my queen) and how slim her cheeks had gotten compared to previous comebacks and there were allegations that she had gotten surgery. she did. like there’s no way she didn’t, but why is it an issue that she did? and i’m not talking about deeper issues like \*\*why\*\* she\*\* \*\*may have gotten the surgery or if the company made her do it, i’m talking about her getting it period. why is it such a big deal when an idol gets plastic surgery?? i saw people flocking in from both sides claiming that she didn’t and that she’s 100% natural beauty and that wonhee would never because she perfect and not plastic while other side is criticizing her for being fake and plastic and falling victim to the industry and getting rid of her most iconic feature whilst calling her ugly. now i’m not saying wonhee isn’t naturally gorgeous cause she definitely is, like just look at her, but she can still be that and get a bit of work done if she pleases. like she’s still beautiful at the end of the day?? i don’t think there’s a celebrity that exist that has had absolutely zero work done, both in the west and korea, so why is it such an issue?? i feel like when people get upset at surgery allegations it less for the consideration of the idol and their mental well-being and more like a mini version of fan wars, yknow? kinda like “haha my bias is better looking than yours even without surgery”, so actually admitting to the fact that their bias may have had surgery is more or less a blow to the ego. idols can still be naturally gorgeous while getting veneers, or a nose lift, or lip fillers, or whatever else they may get. it obviously can get to a point and there are examples, but a simple surgery like slimming down one’s cheeks or shaving away their bunny teeth should not be as serious as people make it out to be.

sophia saying that the situation is not about race wasn’t about hxg

i would put this on the megathread but it’s more focused on sophia rather than manon. there was a recent interview with vf and katseye where they speak about manon and her hiatus far more than they have in the past, and in this interview sophia states “we can definitely say that in our situation, in no way was it about race”. i felt like she obviously meant that between the six girls, it was not and will never be about race. the company is most likely at fault for whatever is going on and for the racism at play, not the girls. but i feel like people believe that when she says “we” she’s referring to the group and company for some reason, when she has never signaled that before in the past. literally in every interview sophia has ever done, when she says we, she’s referring to the group. also with her saying “our situation” seems like she’s trying to create distance on purpose rather than just saying “it’s not about race” and making it sound far more broad. i do believe whole heartedly that manons hiatus is not normal and 100% has to due with racism, but i also believe that the girls did not create this fire, hxg did.

Lemonade Or Sprite???

there’s been a decent amount of songs coming out recently talking about lemonade or lemons and since i’m american i always thought they were referring to the sugary and sour drink, yknow lemonade. but i just remembered somehow that these groups are korean, are they talking about korean lemonade or american lemonade. american lemonade sounds much more appealing for a song like lemon tang by h2h but korean lemonade fits lemonade from aespa far more than american lemonade. for comparison american lemonade is more of a juice while korean lemonade is carbonated, sort of like sprite.

were the girls allowed to post manon for her birthday??

yesterday as we all know was manons 21th birthday, and the official katseye page did in fact post her, but not a single one of the girls posted a story for her like they usually do. i wonder if it’s a company forced thing since they’re treating the girl like voldemort and not even allowing the other 5 to say her name. i highly doubt manon has issues with all 5 of the members, even if it this was some kind of group issue (though i believe it’s not). i feel like this is a label issue due to lara literally making a birthday story one of her friends the day before. but at the same time we all have no idea what’s going on behind the scenes. :(

tour ticket prices for katseye (yes yes i know)

i already have tickets to see katseye later this year, but i really wanted to buy relsaled tickets to get a closer view lol but all of them are either between 700-1000 dollars or simply unavailable. does it seem possible for the ticket prices to decrease closer to the actual date and for some people to release their tickets or should i just settle for the tickets i currently have??
