Quavo hit the top of the greatness page on Wikipedia. Is he the best rapper OAT?
Is this the best GTBSG/SBE live performance ever?
this performance is the most lively i've ever seen him, even more than brixton 2024. he seems fully in tune and fully connected to the music here. what's your favorite dg performance?
He hit the craziest flow here for like 15 seconds
Never really liked this song but on the red light biweekly re listen I caught how insane this is. Love it.
Real spring is real good. Wish we talked about it more.
It's the perfect version of DG's sound mixed with more mainstream EDM sensibilities. Bladee absolutely crushes it here . Just wanted to see if y'all rock with it the long way like I do. Skrillex and DG really works.

Post. I feel like I'm becoming separated from my "let people do what they want" philosophy and I'm starting to eye-roll at "weird" queerness. I don't want this to happen but it's happening on an emotional level faster than it is on an intellectual one. Can I get some tips?
I tried to make some minimal trap/art pop thing? Idk i'm not sure if i should be happy w it. any notes?
How do you find a community (producer)
Hello! Sorry, this is my second post in a row but I'm looking for a community or a group of people who also make underground beats for sharing and feedback. Hiphop and EDM spaces aren't really helping me with improvement because I usually get very basic "fix the mixing" or "the drums aren't hitting" advice and I want to speak to some more like-minded people. If anyone knows how to do this then please let me know.
my melodies all sound really formulaic
Sorry if this is the wrong place but I'm trying to make experimental cloud rap/digicore (fork found in kitchen i guess) inspired by vaporwave but every time I move from the sound design/ drums phase onto actually penning my melodies, it's always the most hickory dickory dock thing ever, they're barely catchy and either make no sense or are cohesive to a fault where it feels like there's no natural breathing room.
Do you guys who make music have any tips on how to make something more immediately ear-catching in the melody? I've tried mixing up timings and adding short accidental notes to accent my stuff but it's still not really hitting. All my best melodies seem to just be drones or gross-beat chopped autotuned crooning from myself with heavy unison (imogen heap kind of process but modernized)
Every single production tutorial uses preset synths. I feel like my sound design is getting nowhere. Help needed
I'm playing with vital, and I'm trying my best to make every synth in my music an original one. The issue is, whenever I'm looking at tutorials for subgenres I'm interested in or artists whose style I want to recreate, I'm mostly looking for how to actually SOUND like them. The issue is, almost every tutorial I can find is just "Alright so what you're gonna want to do is get a futuristic sound on serum and then make a melody by ear".
Gee, thanks. That's really gonna help me with my whitearmor inspired sound design.
I already know how to do the basic "super saw/ pad/ bass" stuff that almost every vital tutorial starts and stops at. And every other vital tutorial is basically "Here's what every button does" without actually telling me how to properly use them to create the sort of stuff I want to. Anyone know how they got better at creating synthesisers? And don't just say "try to recreate songs you like" because I DON'T KNOW HOW. I've tried.

After 12 hours of work, I finally beat orange stake! Checkered deck.
I got to orange stake on checkered deck and thought "I'm just gonna play checkered deck until I win this stake". I had defeated all previous stakes within a few games of unlocking them, so I though this would be the same deal. Nearly a week later, I have 20 hours on balatro, over half of them being trying to beat this one specific deck/stake combo. It's difficult for me to play other decks now because I'm so used to just always having flushes on hand.
Cuck of Hell when?
I've been listening to bull of heaven for quite a while - 029 is one of the most powerful ambient releases I've heard yet. I do have quite a large problem with the duo and their ability to resonate with me.
This music - as hinted at by the name of the band - is for big strong virtuous men who like to fuck other people's partners. I, however, am a sinful cuckold, and as such I can't relate or connect to Bull of Heaven.
Does anyone else exclusively queue for one map? Pic related.
I have about 2.5k hours in tf2 and I'd wager that about 1k+ of that time has been spent on harvest. I know it has a reputation for being a goofy map or just like a DMfest, but it's honestly my favorite.
No sentry spot is overly advantageous, it's easy to avoid snipers on the point or in the buildings, it's perfect for traversal by any of the classes with increased movement.
I'm a tryhard(ish) player, too. When I load into a harvest server I have 2 goals.
- Get the most points on my team.
- Win the game so the whole server sees that I got the most points.
I hate trans memes. (Trans woman perspective)
I understand that places like egg_irl or traa and to a certain extent 196 are safe spaces for vulnerable people who are just happy to find a community of people like them. I know I liked these memes when I was 13. I just hate that it's such an overbearing part of the community identity. Boykisser, egg cracking, blahaj, white monster, black hoodie, all that shit.
With that out of the way, it's still so juvenile of a meme to me that it's nearly sickening. It's like these people are stuck in the 2018 era of meme templates, with these drawings that I remember from like 7 years ago screenshotted so much that you can see the fucking jpeg artification.
