I’ve seen a couple people point this out: in the library file that you can download from TV Time, some of documents include personally identifiable information (like name, IP address, likes/info from Facebook, etc) — and the import options I’ve seen so far ask you to upload the entire zip file, so should we be concerned or hesitant about importing everything?

Like many others here, I'm trying to find a replacement to TV Time now that it's shutting down. So far, Sofa Time seems like a good alternative - I'm basically just looking for an app that's closest to how TV Time functions.
I'm a little confused about the "Add to history" and "Add to watchlist" options in Sofa Time. If you select the history option, and you haven't finished a show yet, you can just mark how far you've gotten and then it seems to show the "up next" episodes under the Watch tab. So since that's already there, what's the point of the "Add to watchlist" option? Does it show up somewhere else in the app or display information differently?
I've dabbled with Serializd which seems like another contender, but these apps are just missing the simplicity and straightforward layout of TV Time, in my opinion. It's probably partly just from being so accustomed to TV Time that it'll take me a while to adjust to others.
What's everyone else's experience with Sofa Time so far?
Okay so I’ve been working on this for a few weeks and it finally feels real enough to share.
It’s called 91.7, left917.net. Basically a one-page feed for everything happening in Watauga, Ashe, and Avery. News, weather alerts, road conditions, all in one quiet place. Pulls from Watauga Democrat, Ashe Post & Times, Mountain Times, High Country Press, BPR, App State News, NWS, NC DOT, and Blue Ridge Parkway. No social media required.
I built it because I love this place but I hate that knowing what’s going on here means scrolling Instagram. So this is the opposite of that. No algorithm, no ads, no signup. Just what’s actually happening.
Working on adding events from the venues I keep going to like Boone Saloon, AMB, Lost Province, Booneshine, Todd Mercantile, and Huzzah Books. Library programming too. Long way to go but it’s a start.
If you check it out, tell me what’s missing. I want this to be the thing people actually use.
