My dad doesn't have many people in his life but I hope he always knows I appreciate him a lot. He had me when he was only 13 (he was assaulted by an adult woman) and when he was 15 he had to call child services on his whole family and got separated from his siblings. He did it to protect me. I'm a 15 year old boy now too but I couldn't imagine doing all the things he had to do back then. When he was only 19 he finally got full custody of me and took me to a different country for a new start, so we don't have anyone else. He's the only adult I have. But I'm fine with that because he's so amazing.

He's always patient and helps me with everything. I can tell him anything because he's always understanding and never gets mad at me. He always makes sure we have a lot of money so he can get me whatever I want and take me on vacations and all. Even though he works a lot he still spends time with me every day. He does all the activities I like with me. He hugs me every day and let's me sleep in his room sometimes because I have sleep problems. He also doesn't mind that I still wanna hold his hand sometimes (not outside obviously but like in the car for example). He lets me like whatever I like and doesn't get mad when I mess up. He always makes sure he cooks enough healthy food and that my clothes are warm enough before going out and that I'm healthy and feeling okay.

Sometimes I thought he might wish I wasn't born because the circumstances were bad, but he always says that I'm the best thing in his life and that he would never wish I wasn't there.

I'm 15 now and my dad is 28, even though most people assume he's around 24-25 which makes it even harder for them to believe he's my dad.

He was 13 when he had me. Ever since he was 19 he has been raising me by himself, before that he wasn't financially stable enough to get full custody.

I'm 15(m) and my dad had me when he was only 13 so he's 28. If people at least assumed he was in his late 20s it would be better but he looks young and kinda acts it too so they usually think he's like 25. I don't care about that, but I hate when people say weird shit like accusing him of being a pedo. For example we were once getting lunch together and this random ass woman started asking who I was to him and she didn't wanna believe he's my dad and said she's gonna call the police because it looks like he's a pedo trying to take me on a date or something. It doesn't help that we don't really look related at all.

Then a lot of kids at my school (girls mostly) are kinda obsessed with him and it's a little annoying. I know they're only 14-15 and just saying stupid shit but I wish they'd realize they're talking to his son when they talk about how they're crushing on him. They always say I'm so lucky he's my dad and I am but what they mean is that I'm lucky because they find him attractive. Sometimes they ask super weird shit like if he has abs and what gym he goes to so they can come there and if I can send them pictures of him.

We have a lot of money so I basically always get to buy what I want and this one kid once said it's "basically like having a rich sugar daddy". No?? It's just like having a rich dad.

The worst thing ever was probably when I told one of my friends I like boys and she asked if I ever think my dad is hot. You're a straight girl, do you think YOUR dad is hot? What the fuck bro.

I'm also generally a kind of touchy person, I just give my dad a lot of hugs and stuff like that. Sometimes my friends act like it's weird even though they do the same with their dads and it's not weird.

One time we were at one of my sports competitions and my dad gave me a kiss on the head and my own aunt said he shouldn't do that in public because people will probably think he's my weird older boyfriend and he could get in trouble or that people will think he's a child predator.

I just hate it and it's so weird and those people don't even realize how they're making me uncomfortable. I'm just really close with my dad and have a very good and affectionate relationship with him and I don't want people to be weird about it. And even if they're crushing on him I don't wanna hear about it. He's my dad. Do they think I'm gonna agree or participate in their weird ass talks?

I was at summer camp and we built a tree house with wood and my friend and I took a big plank but some of the older kids wanted it. We didn't agree to give it to them so one of them hit me really hard in the face and my nose started bleeding. And when I was getting my bike to go home they threw my hotwheels cars in the river. That was at the end of the day. He said he will do worse tomorrow if I don't give it back. But my team didn't agree to give them the plank and I can't decide by myself.

I said I'll tell my mom or the adults at camp but he said if I tell anyone they will tear down my team's whole tree house and beat me up too before I can get help from anyone. Then my whole team would hate me. And the problem is that he is the son of the guy who runs the camp so his dad will probably listen to him and not me. Most of the time adults think I'm a liar anyways so they won't be on my side ever. I thought maybe I should quit camp but I don't wanna because it's fun.
