32Gb at 3000Mhz vs 16Gb at 3600 Mhz

I received a kit of GSkill 2x8gb 3000Mhz of RAM from a coworker for free and i was wondering if it’s worth putting them into my gaming rig. I already have 2 sticks of 8gb DDR4 Corsair Ram at 3600Mhz. What’s better, sticking to 16gb at 3600 or going to 32gb and dropping to 3000Mhz?
My use cases for this pc is a mix of games released in the early 2010s and some more recent titles. I don’t do any coding anymore as i’ve switched majors from CS to Business. I use Zen Browser and i constantly have more than 15 tabs open.
Let me know if i can provide any extra info.
Other components:
GPU: 2070 Super (Gigabyte triple fan)
CPU: Ryzen 5 5600G (i know it’s not the best, i used to game without a gpu, i bought it when i built the pc without a GPU)
Motherboard: MSI B550 MAG Tomahawk (or something like that)
Case?: Corsair Airflow 400D
And of course I am on Winslop 11 (I use fedora on my laptop btw)

Is my lenovo cooked?

Ive had this lenovo 14ARP8 for almost 2 years now and it has been nothing but great over that period. Left it in my laptop bag for a month after i finished exams, in sleep. Now it runs like a jet engine. Opened it up and the heatsink looked loose to me. What can i do? It has high temps at low usage(25% at 85 and more degrees) sometimes. It seems to be worse in windows than in linux. Im scared to change the termal paste as i only have arctic mx4 and not ptm 7950(i believe that is what lenovo used on this). Please tell me im not cooked🤞🏼
I just cant get any work done on it, it being as loud as it is is just nagging me.

Weird joystick behavior

I recently took my PS5 controller apart and cleaned the potentiometer on the left analog stick cause it had stick drift, discovered one is faulty, but I put it back in until I can get Hall effect replacements to solder on. I put it back together and the right joystick, that I didn’t even touch started behaving really weird. It is now stuck pointing up, dpad doesn’t work and pressing L2 seems to be controlling the vertical position of the analog stick. Anyone encountered this?
