It almost makes me not want any other watches. However, I am a watch enthusiast, and there are a few others I will be adding to the collection, but this so far is my go-to, and has been, pretty much since I purchased it new back in December of last year.
Such a pleasure to wear.

I've worn my Mark XX on its bracelet maybe twice since purchasing it new about 6 months ago. I now usually just wear it on an aftermarket canvas strap w/quick release bars. Ive somehow lost the stock spring bars. I know they are 20mm in width, but need to know the thickness. When I Google this, it says the stock ones for the bracelet are 1.5mm thick. Great. I have those. However, they do not work. I cannot get the bracelet on. So I tried using some 1.3mm thick bars. Those work. One side is tight, the other side is a little loose. So im not sure what the deal is. Can someone with the stock Mark XX bracelet and a pair of calipers meaure the thickness of the stock spring bars for me? Id really like to wear the bracelet for a bit.
I still believe that, the Seiko SRPE "Dress KX", is the best Seiko GADA watch. Period. One dudes opinion.
Ive been wanting to add a Tudor back into the collection, and the 54 is one of the only ones I have yet to own. So, today I took a trip out to my AD, and they had the black 54 and the blue 54. I love the size of the 54. The black looked good, but my everyday watch, an IWC Mark XX, is black, so I was more interested in seeing the blue (and blue is one of my favorite colors, but I usually shy away from blue watches). I owned the blue BB58 a while back. I know everyone has been upset about the discontinuation of that watch, and also that they dont like the new blue hue used on the 54. Ive seen good videos, and good pictures of the BB54 online, but also bad of both, too. I have to say, in person, this watch is absolutely amazing. Pics and videos do NO justice at all. I have a strict one in, one out for my watch purchases, so I didnt buy it today, but I will be selling a watch to add this watch to the collection.
