ML17 for today...
The blue dial really pops against this yellow NATO.
The world hates us!
These people are so delusional. First of all, the Japanese do not hate Americans. Secondly, these people live in caves, so how would they know?
The whole thread is just everyone saying how much the world hates us. Ok, Doomers.
I'm sure everyone gets sick of seeing the 556...
So my last post of the 556 for a bit, even though I'm going to keep wearing it. Been on a NATO kick lately, so I'm enjoying changing up the strap every day.
Back at the Sinn 556i today...
Kind of diggin' this NATO on the 556.
Looks like the Sinn is on the wrist for a bit...
Haven't worn it in quite a while, put it on a few days ago, and haven't been able to let go it yet to wear another watch. A different NATO today. The monochrome look pairs well with pretty much any NATO strap, IMO.
Today is the purple SN0053-G2
Wearing the purple SN0053-G2 today. Found this purple strap soon after I purchased the watch. It really goes well with the dial, IMO.
Looking to purchase a new '26 Si. Questions...
My dealer has a brand new Urban Grey Pearl Si coming in, that will be here by the end of next week. I really think I want to buy it, but a few simple questions. Anyone changed the rear blinkers to LED's? Are there other incandescent lights on the outside of the car? I cannot stand incandescent lighting on a new car these days. Such a cheap thing for Honda to have skimped on. Anything in particular on the car I should check before purchasing? I'm not new to cars, buying new cars/used cars, but first time purchasing a Honda. I'm fully aware they are good cars, so I'm not worried about reliability. Adding the car to the current stable, so this will just be a fun 4-door scoot-around-town car, that actually has a manual. I'll do a few mods, but nothing overboard and obnoxious. Just a nice commuter car that is fun.
Any other info is greatly appreciated.
Note: They have a brand new red one, which I test drove, but didn't want red. Was actually looking to get white, but they don't have a white one, nor one incoming. However they have the new Urban Grey coming in, and that color is actually quite nice, so I'm fine with this.
Does Watchdives put AR on their crystals?
My guess is no, as this watch crystal is super reflective, but I'm not 100% on this. If they do, it must be super minimal. It doesn't make me dislike the watch, just curious.
T023 on a new NATO
This one really matches the dial well.
ML14 Date for today...
On this NATO, it feels like I'm not even wearing a watch. These ML's are chef's kiss.
Old Smith 90-002 for today...
I've thought about selling this a few times, but every time I put it back on, I think I should keep it. Haven't worn it in a while, but it really is a great watch.
Barn Swallows on my porch...
Every year, Barn Swallows absolutely take over my neighborhood. I completely love it. I do not know if Barn Swallows will come back to the same nest every year, but a few years ago, we finally had one build a nest on our front porch, just above the front door. They've been coming back every year since, to this same nest. Again, not sure if its the same bird that built it that is using it each year, but still very cool. This year, the mother had 4 babies, if not mistaken. They're getting bigger now, and here is a pic I snagged of the mother, with one of the chicks (I think).
[SNK381] for todays selection...
My SNK381 was chosen to be worn today. It is modified, so figured I'd wear it today for "Modified Monday".
Cathedral hands, white date wheel, Kanji day wheel and on a two-piece canvas strap.
ML14 vs. ML05 (Cream Dials)
Which do you prefer? Both are mine, and noticed they aren't the same shade of cream. I think I like the ML14 looks wise slightly better, but the color of the ML05 color wise, slightly more.
ML14 on the left/ML05 (maybe ML07?) on the right. Amazon, where I purchased it, says it it is an ML05. Whichever is correct, go with that.
[SRPE51] Just looking GREYt
This watch always looks good.
Looking for REAL pics of this particular San Martin SN0144-CG7
Google shows nothing. They're all pics from San Martins multiple websites. I'm looking for actual real pics that someone has taken, in different lighting, if possible. If you have this watch, and wouldn't mind sharing pics, I'd greatly appreciate it!
