Quite a good return from the band, likely the best since Black holes.

Of course hardcore Muse fans are overrating it (imo), but all in all it's good and I bet most of the songs will be killer when played live

Favorite tracks: Hexagons, Cryogen, Space debris, The dark forest, Shimmering scars

I've been knowing this band's name for years but never cared for them for some reason, until I jumped into Crumbling castle by chance few days ago on YT and was like woooow.

Then ---> listened to Polygol...land (I swear I'll learn the name soon), loved it and had the insane idea to check out the discography and was like 🤯

I've only listened to this and Butterfly 3000 by now and I am overwhelmed by their beauty, I'm having them on repeat

Where do I go now? So much to check out please give me advice

Ora, premesso che questi racconti non sono spinti (non c'è neanche nudità, per la verità), però comunque trattano quello che è a tutti gli effetti un feticismo/kink, voi cosa ne pensate? Boh non so, sento che ci sia qualcosa di "non giusto", però forse sono io che ho le mie idee, vorrei sapere la vostra

I would kill for The manifesto live

The perfect example for me is Everything everything. Their music style and energy are completely different but I still hear the influence

I've been listening to Muse since 2010 but personally they lost me with Simulation theory, and I had some years of no listening to them. Then when WOTP dropped I genuinely came back to their music. (And also listened to ST again and quite liked it a bit more)

I saw here that many think WOTP is Muse worst album and I was kinda surprised of this - of course de gustibus non disputandum est, it's not for judging it's just for discussing and share ideas

The s/t is a strong bombastic Muse style intro. It's fun, I like it

Won't stand down, Kill or be killed and Euphoria are Muse classics

Verona and Ghosts are some of my favorite Muse ballads (I just don't understand why Matt or whoever chose Elisa for the special Ghost edition, I'm italian and "hate" Elisa :( )

We are fucking fucked is easily one of my favorite Muse songs

They make me feel like it's halloween is Muse most fun song along with Panic station

The tracks I like the least are Liberation and Compliance, pretty mid-meh, but not their worst

I also think WOTP benetfits from being short and not having fillers. Okay of course it's not their best but neither their worst, imo

I jumped to this song by chance after a post from this community (I think) popping in my home a few days ago, and I'm obsessed now

Dumb question, just to kill time and see how much Radiohead fans' music taste range can vary and be wide

Of course I'll start: I have some songs by Lady gaga in my playlists, for example Monster, or Vanish into you

(I don't listen to pop music at all, the poppiest I get is Gorillaz and Muse if they can be even considered pop)

Although Porcupine Tree are my second or third favorite band oat, and love all the albums they've put out, I probably woudn't give any of them a 10/10

The only that come close, for me, are Signify and Fear of a blank planet - these two are my current favorites, but until not long ago my fave were Stupid dream and Lightbulb sun - but I feel they lack something to reach perfection

Radiohead have been my favorite band since 2014 but it's a few years I just can't listen to them, dunno why. It's not like I listen to them and don't like them anymore --on the contrary every time I'm blown away by how much I think their music is great -- but there is something that "blocks" me from listening to them. I even struggled to relisten to them for last october tour :(((

I feel I need new music by them, we've all been waiting for so long now. (I know other bands have longer time gaps from album to album, but this is the longest we've gotten from Radiohead.)

I listen to The smile a little more by now. Even if the 90% of what I listen to is Gorillaz and Damon Albarn in general and also the new singles of Muse on loop, and the left 10% is Everything everything, Interpol, Strokes (because I'm going to see them live but I only know a few songs by them), Porcupine tree and Steven Wilson

Gorillaz and Muse are two of my favorite bands. While being completely different, I feel they have a similar music trajectory in their discography - they both arguably peaked with their 2nd and 3rd album, then had divisive albums etc

Somewhere here I read people not liking them, maybe because they're not rockish (?)

If you listened to it, do you like the Mountain?

I'm curious if the Wow signal will top it because the singles are so good and they're shaping up the new album to be really interesting
