Looking for a quick and easy way to schedule tasks

Hey all, not sure if this feature exists but what I'd like to do is have like a one click task-to-calendar transition.

Basically if I'm looking at Today's task list, naturally I have some tasks that are overdue. What I'd like to do is basically right click it and "Find time for this" where then it would pull up the calendar to today, week view for example, and I can click or drag a time block to easily schedule some time for it.

Lately what I've been doing is just rescheduling it for today, switching to calendar manually and dragging it down from the top to a time block.

Any other ideas? Thanks!

Unable to transfer to TI-84+

Hi all!

I've got a teenager in high school and she needs a graphing calculator.

I got a TI-84 Plus, because I thought it would be easy to transfer games since it came with the USB cable.

I remember playing Drug Wars and wanted to share it with her too lol

I've got TI Connect software 4.0.0.218

I've tried transferring MirageOS, and a few other games but everything fails.

My PC (Windows 11) AND Ti Connect also does detect the calc, and the calc is on the main blank home screen with a blinking cursor. I've tried being in Receive mode.. Is it supposed to be on a certain screen?

Does the version of calc matter? What can I do here?

Thanks!

Question about BotW versions.

Does the Switch 2 version include the S1 version too?

Looking at the summer sale and BotW is on sale. I just got a S2 console but I'm also gonna keep a Switch Lite so I'll need both versions.

I have the S1 physical version of BotW. But I figure might as well have both on digital, right?

So do I need just the S2 version? Or do I need to buy the S1 AND the upgrade to be able to play on both switches?

My turn to discuss the philosophy of 'A Taste of Armageddon'

Let me start by saying I've never really watched TOS. As a millenial, I grew up with TNG. I'm familiar with the tropes, cast, and most pop culture references of TOS though.

Recently, while working, I've tuned into the TOS channel on the Pluto app and this episode came on tonight.

Interesting episode, obviously. And I read a few reddit threads about it.

So, my thoughts, I have a few. I don't think HOW they waged their war is really the issue/question. While it has its pros and cons, who are "we" to go in there and tell them their way of doing things for centuries is wrong?

They share that "barbaric" trait of violence with humans but have found a way to do it in a civil way. Did they ever say what they were fighting over? Our wars are fought over ideology, land, resources, etc... But what are they gaining by fighting? Or just satisfying the primal urge? Maintaining status quo?

The Enterprise is made for exploration, but we've seen how they have battles with Romulans, Klingons, etc... So is the Federation really any better/more peaceful?

This may be taboo, and I don't mean to sound edgy, but a part of me feels there IS some need to "thin the herd." We do it as hunters with wildlife. And resources are finite.

The idea that their history and technology remain intact and can continue has already been discussed quite a bit as a pro to their methods.

Then there's the issue of the planets involving the Enterprise and crew. Obviously not part of that war but inserted themselves into that culture and situation despite warning.

The main issue I have is that war is gruesome, yes. But that hasn't stopped some certain repeat offending nations from engaging in it endlessly. The difference is the ones who command the wars never see actual war. And the ones fighting and seeing the carnage aren't making the decisions.

Point being, as terrible as war is, it has not deterred us and I don't think it ever will.

It just evolves.

Why can't I connect these??

I'm realizing I need to make it all in one go which is fine this time since they're empty but shouldn't there be a way to link existing buildings?

Any way to view completed objectives?

Maybe a dumb question and sorry I'm new but I had an objective to display 3 epic tropical fish.

I did that but not sure what (if anything) that unlocked.

In "A Leela of Her Own" - Why was she signing to eBay?

This always makes me confused.

I get that the people in line were getting autographs as a novelty to sell on eBay.

But why would it need to be made out to eBay?

Is that a real thing to have eBay signed when selling on eBay?

Or was it just the writer's way of getting the point across they didn't really care about her, they just wanted to profit off her?

2 Switch 2s - Local multiplayer

Maybe a dumb question and wasn't sure how to Google this.

If I have two Switch 2s and don't pay for Nintendo membership, can we play with each other over local network? Or connected directly to each other?

If so what are some good games that would work/be fun like that?

Thanks!

FUCK. HER.

Seriously, it's one the to think the man should be the provider, which fine, whatever... But to be so SELFISH that you can't handle when the shoe is on the other foot? She must have a warped idea of marriage because it sounds like she just wants a man with a wallet. And without that, it's worthless.

Since their beginning I could tell she was only in it for herself.

IT'S A TEAM EFFORT

There's other reasons to be married. Where's the love? Where's the support? She sees him as an anchor because he doesn't have a job because she wanted her "career" (dreams) and desires as more of a priorty. I'm surprised more people didn't react to this.

She despises him and seems him as a weak loser (which he may be) but that's who she chose to marry and have a kid with. And because he's not able to provide - at this point in time - she doesn't want to be with him.

That is revolting.

How To Set Up a Cleaning Schedule?

Hey all!

I'm new and trying to get the hang of TickTick.

One thing I'm trying to use it for scheduled house chores/cleaning.

It's still a work in progress but I set up a 'Cleaning' LIST, then made CATEGORIES for each cleaning interval (daily, weekly, etc...) Then used TASKS for areas of the house and SUBTASKS for the chores needed in that area.

Set it up for Kanban view and I think it looks ok, but the problem I'm seeing is when looking at Today's view, it's showing multiple tasks (as I guess it should) labeled bedroom, kitchen, etc.. for each interval.. And it's just too much clutter

So what can I do here? Should I remove the date? Or not categorize by room/area? Is there a better way overall I haven't thought of?

Thank you!

ROM Set Configurations

Hey all! Getting my MM+ today and researching ROM sets vs individual curating.

I see a lot of folks are split but mostly recommend making your own individual set.

My question is more about what Done Set or Tiny Best Set GO actually DO...

Besides the obvious ROM collection/installation, do they modify the menus, settings, etc... on the device? And if so how? Is there a way to manually change these?

Thanks!
