Had the front of house girls call me down to dispose of a wasp 3 times in the last 2 days, last week spent 40 minutes chasing a bird.

Had a hornet once, a massive one.

What's the worst (or best) creature you've had to evict from the premises?

Making blackberry jam, I have quite a few jars but I'm planning on making quite a lot while they're in season. Looking for jars of any size, happy to pay for them (or trade for jam!)

Thread the needle, tie it off do some stitches and it unties itself and unthreads. Double knotted triple knotted man why does it keep untying itself do I have to just constantly re tighten the knot wtf

Personally I dint have much of an issue with people having their phones on them cuz I think its fair to be able to respond to messages or have a quick social media scroll, and for putting on music too.

This said I'll admit sometimes it goes a bit far, for example taking an hour to do a 10 minutes prep job because you constantly responding to a conversation, or playing games when theres other stuff needs doing, but ive not had a huge amount of issues with people doing that.

Big one for me tho is I've noticed a lot, is people not washing their hands after using their phone, actually so gross. Phones are disgusting - they go everywhere with you, including the toilet, out for a smoke break, in your house and outside etc, and never get washed. They're a huge carrier of bacteria and often physical contaminants and I hate having to explain that to grown ass adults

Ive lived in my flat for over 6 months yet still get abundant amounts of post for previous tenants. Checked the post this morning and had 9 letters and only 1 was for me. I dont wanna be dealing with other people's post, naturally i just throw it away immediately, just change your postal address guys

Edit: yeah 'return to sender' or 'not at this address ' doesn't work guys it doesn't get taken back it just stays in my box

Tomorrow in Bedford square at 1pm there is a protest against the ehrc bill, which essentially bans transgender folks from using gendered spaces aligning with the gender we identify with. Exeter, we're pretty progressive with these things. Even if you're cisgender, straight ot whatever else, please show up to support us. This is a huge step backwards for the LGBTQ+ community and week cause serious damage. Please show up to support your queer brothers and sisters
