What would have caused a "Delay: Emergency Situation or Severe Weather" in NYC last night?

Overnight air package (medication) was received by UPS at 9:23PM. At 10:20 PM it lists the delay I wrote in the title. No updates since.

I called CS, and they said it would be updated with a new delivery date by EOD, but that's their standard response. I need to know whether this package needs to be reordered and overnighted again via another courier. So frustrating.

Benjamin Netanyahu Vows to End US Aid, Says Israel’s Economy Strong Enough to Stand Alone

While yes, it is only a fraction of a % of their GDP, they are currently so far in the red that they will have to issue debt, cut services, or raise taxes to make up for the annual shortfall of around $3.5B. It will be interesting to see the citizens' reaction.
