My post and comment history is set to hide all, and I cannot see it when I'm not logged into my account but others can and have sent me screenshots of my post history.

I got a notification saying this might be a better community to post in than r/bugs, sorry if it was wrong.

10% or 20% to Server on Delivery Orders?

I'm about to order delivery and on the checkout page in one spot it says that there's a 10% service fee that goes to the server and in another spot it says there's a 20% service fee that goes to the server. The charge is 20%. Does that full 20% actually go to the server or are they playing games? I saw some old old posts talking about a 10% to-go fee and 10% for the takeout containers, but this specifically says both 10% and 20% are going to the server. I don't mind paying it if it's actually going to the server but I don't like that they're lying about it in multiple spots (the 20% is on the subtotal page too) if half of it doesn't.

Gcode M412 S0?

Hello, my filament break sensor was throwing up Unknown Filament errors and no matter what I did it wouldn't go away and I can't print or even extrude anything. There is no filament present in the printhead, I already cleaned the breaks out. I tried cleaning the sensor to see if that was the problem and the black part of it just snapped off and flew away somewhere in my house. I have heard that Gcode M412 S0 might work to disable the sensor, but the Marlin documentation says it's for the runout sensor, which isn't my issue. Does anyone know if this is the correct Gcode to disable the break sensor until I get a new one?

N00b Changing Hot End and Nozzle

Hello, I am brand new to 3D printing and the Kobra S1 Combo is my first 3D printer. I absolutely love it, but I wanted to switch out the nozzle to a .2 mm to print some smaller prints with finer detail.

In the process of trying to change out the stock nozzle, it broke off inside of the hot end that came with the machine. So, I ordered a replacement ceramic hot end (pictured) which just arrived today.

I'm not clear on what I'm supposed to do with the two wires coming off the Thermistor that aren't attached to the heating element-- they aren't connected to each other like in the product photo and I'm not sure where they're supposed to go. I tried just tucking them into the silicone sock but I got an Extruder error when I turned on the machine that said to turn it off and check the wiring. I wanted to just preheat it a little to see if switching the nozzle out would be easier if it was warm, but I can't do that until I resolve the wiring issue, and the nozzle that came with this hot end doesn't want to budge at all at room temp. I'm scared of breaking another one and wrecking the new hot end in one go.

Does anyone know what to do with the wires that go nowhere and/or have any advice for swapping out the nozzle? Everyone makes nozzle swapping sound so easy and I feel like I must be doing something very wrong considering how much trouble I'm having.

TIA.

my [truncated] collection

I believe I got all of these from Vine besides the haruharu wonder barrier essence, but gosh my collection is out of control and I'm darn lucky to be a Vine reviewer <3

I've collected all of these and more over the course of about a year since I picked up an interest in skincare.

May you all be blessed with an abundance of goodies that make you smile!

The Vine Gods Have Blessed Me (Redux)

The single most exciting item I had ever ordered from Vine was an Anycubic Photon P1 resin 3D printer. I was legit planning on taking the day off work when it arrived to get it set up and play around with it. Alas, it was damaged in shipping and never arrived. Seller was unwilling to send a replacement.

Last night I managed to snag this filament printer, and I couldn't be happier that I got another shot at 3D printing. I've never used one before, and I understand resin ones are messier and more complicated, but I was looking forward to printing Warhammer figures for my bff. This filament one will be more fun to use with the kids, though, I bet, and I'm sure they'll be thrilled when it arrives. Now I just have to get some filament...

Got my first claim!

I'm a Vine reviewer for Amazon and have reviewed hundreds of skincare products, excited to branch out to a new program! This cream looks lovely, too.

Past few days of beauty scores...

I'm pretty happy! I'm not always a fragrance person but I've heard so much good stuff about PHLUR I'm excited for the sampler! Even if I don't end up loving them I'm sure my wife will.

Clarification of Doxxing Policy?

Hello! I'm a relatively new mod on r/vine, which focuses on the Amazon Vine reviewing program. Sometimes people post screenshots of other people's reviews, and while in the community it's generally considered courteous to crop out the reviewer's display name, we don't have a rule specifically saying that you have to. We've gotten multiple reports on a recent post where someone didn't crop out the display names of the reviewers. One of these reports said that it was a violation of Reddit's overall doxxing policy and must be removed.

These are display names that are publicly available on Amazon alongside the reviews, so I don't think that is the case but I just wanted to make sure because I've approved the post despite numerous reports-- there is another, larger Amazon Vine sub that does have a rule against including display names, so I think some of the reporters are just confused about which sub they're on and what the rules are, but I don't want to be approving posts that are actually in violation of Reddit's doxxing policy; I just really don't think they are? Any clarification on this would be greatly appreciated.

So, the consensus seems to be that editing a review will NOT result in changing the Review Insightfulness Score after it's initially graded. I was under the impression there was no way to have anything but the first draft evaluated. However, I just noticed that the first Fair I had gotten in a streak of 700-800 Excellent reviews is now Excellent.

After I got the Fair grade, I deleted the review. You can do this from your profile. After deleting it, it still showed in my Reviewed list; it just said "Not Approved" and showed the Fair score. I re-wrote it and resubmitted anyway on the same day, 4/4/26.

Today is 5/6/26 and I just noticed it is now Excellent. I guess it could have changed at any time between 4/4 and now and I just didn't notice, but I feel like it was definitely Fair for at least a week before I stopped checking it.

I don't know if it's an issue to delete Vine reviews, so do this at your own risk, but apparently if simply editing a review will not trigger a reevaluation of the RIS, deleting and re-submitting will.

I posted this in r/bugs as well, but I know not everything there will get an individual response and I'm curious if anyone else has encountered this and maybe knows how to fix it.

I'm a fairly new Reddit mod and help out with moderating r/vine, which used to be for the 6-second video platform but now is about the Amazon Vine reviewing program. We have a post from 11y ago related to the video platform stuck in our Mod Queue.

The other mods who pre-date me and I have tried everything to get it to go away: removed it, approved it, reported it, ignored the reports, marked it NSFW, etc.; we literally have taken every mod action we possibly can on it and it stays in our Mod Queue no matter what. Does anyone know if there's a way to get it to go away?

It was one of the first things I noticed when I joined the mod team and when I asked about it the other mods were resigned to it never going away, apparently one of them had reached out to Reddit about it a while ago but I'm not sure through what means and it clearly never got resolved. Any advice is appreciated!

Hello! I am a mod on r/vine and there is one item in our mod queue from 11y ago that we cannot get rid of. We have approved it, removed it, marked it NSFW, reported it ourselves, ignored the reports, taken essentially every mod action we can on it and it is just stuck there. Is there any way to get rid of it? It's very annoying seeing the same post every single time we check the Mod Queue.
