Very impressed by the WF-1000XM6’s sound quality

Even on iOS the sound quality is so good. I prefer these buds over my AirPods Pro 3’s, honestly. Sure the AirPods have the ease of use with my other Apple products, like my iPad and MacBook. But the sound quality on the Sony buds has made it hard to go back tbh

Did I ruin my oral health by not getting an implant right away!

I’m 28 and had a tooth extracted about 3 years ago, I wasn’t able to afford an implant at the time.

I had an exam done earlier in the year which came back as normal.

Just really worried about the outcome of this, I have an appointment this week with another practice. I have insurance now but it has that missing tooth clause policy.

Can Prozac increase blood pressure and anxiety?

I know that Prozac can increase anxiety but I’ve been on 60 mg for over a month, so I thought it would’ve leveled out by now. I also got high blood pressure readings at my doctor’s appointment

I may have to stop it which sucks as it’s helped my social anxiety a lot, but oh well

Can 60 mg cause higher blood pressure?

My blood pressure readings have been elevated both times at my check-ups.

Is this a side effect of 60 mg?

Best ways to cope with the physical and mental stress with this company?

I'm almost at the 2 year mark as a tech and the physical exhaustion started to hit around the 1.5 year mark; mentally, when I walk in, it feels like every minute is torture.

I use cannabis to unwind after work and exercising helps but the dread returns shortly after. I keep applying to new jobs and go to therapy and everything, but the physical toll and mental toll this job takes on you still lingers.

I wanna quit so badly but doing so in this economy without a job lined up would be really unwise, so I'm using the cannabis + therapy and exercise method until I can leave and find something way less exhausting

How do other techs cope?

Any edible users who take antidepressants in this sub?

Just wondering how the experience has been; the meds are Prozac and Lamictal.

Are there any long term harmful interactions between antidepressants and the edibles?

Anyone else have higher blood pressure since working for CVS?

I got put on a blood pressure med for the first time ever; I think working in the pharmacy is prob a part of it.

Worst part is that you can’t exactly quit because finding another job is hard right now, I’ve applied to a ton of places to no avail

Should I cut fast food and restaurant food out entirely?

I’m 28 and have been put on Losartan Potassium for two weeks. I’ve been cleaning up my diet; I have craved some Chipotle but am cautious about it considering the hypertension diagnosis when I went to the doctor before

Is it best to avoid this stuff altogether for now?

Prescribed losartan potassium 25 mg as a 28 year old, a little anxious

Just saw the doctor today and was prescribed losartan potassium with a follow up appointment in two weeks. Both my parents have high blood pressure and lately I have had some days where I’ll overeat or get cravings for fast food.

I exercise regularly but I’m definitely going to increase the frequency. I also plan to cut down on coffee and cutting out Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts altogether.

I’m a bit worried tbh because of my age, and I hope the changes I’ve decided to make will help make this non-permanent

Gummies that don't cause the munchies?

As the title says, I'm looking for brands that don't cause the munchies. My fav brands are Off Hours and Ayrloom, but I eat excessively after taking one 10 mg thc gummy. I tried drinking a lot of water which helped but not totally.

Is taking a thc break altogether best for reversing the weight gain? I have been exercising regularly to counter this, but I notice I am still packing on the pounds

Are stimulants effective for non-ADHD people?

Currently on Prozac and Lamotrigine which has helped, but I struggle with concentration at work and memory issues + delayed processing of information

I’ve never been diagnosed with ADHD, just major depression disorder. Was considering asking my doctor about adding on a stimulant or changing my current med

Burned out

Grateful to have a job in this economy, but we get callouts like every single week and it just sucks especially on the weekend

I work as a tech and it’s a high volume pharmacy; we only have 4 techs at most on the weekends so if we get two techs calling out, it is extra exhausting

Just needed to vent, this company sucks so bad , I’m applying to other places but no luck thus far

How bad is Five Guys on rare occasions?

I like to treat myself on rare occasions to a large order of fries. Just wondering how bad this is for your health. It’s not an everyday thing at all. I eat healthy food outside of it, too

I go for walks often and do weightlifting, plus I work in healthcare so I’m moving a lot during my workday

Differences between Lithium and Lamotrigine for those who have been on both?

On week 3 of 100 mg; I feel like more time is needed, but I feel like my mood cycling is still an issue.

I was looking at Lithium as another option, but the side effects seem quite rough. I did see that Lithium appears better for major depression disorder, rather than unipolar depression.

Has anyone been on both?

Are these signs of being neurodivergent?

I’ve always felt different compared to other kids growing up. I had friends but I always struggled to fit in.

While I am friendly, I struggle to make friendships and I also feel mentally young; I’m 28 but I don’t feel my age.

Socializing has always been something that I’ve felt behind in, and I often find that while I am able to mask and be sociable at work, I struggle to pick up on the social cues that people give. I also seem to have a hard time picking up on sarcasm and detecting when someone is being serious or joking.

I also have delayed processing. Like if my manager says something it’s like it takes my brain extra time to process it. I also get overstimulated at work too and have to hide my stimming.

My stims are humming, finger snapping, swinging my arms.

I haven’t been screened outside of one time, where the psychiatrist told me I had a mild score on the autism quotient test.

Best way to pay for a dental implant without insurance?

My employer’s dental plan is Aetna Dental; I had a tooth extracted before my plan became active. Aetna has that missing tooth clause so I’m not sure how to proceed.

Can’t use CareCredit as they closed my account.

What’s the best options at this point?

Is it likely I'm being terminated?

Got a level 1 corrective action in my performance feedback during the prior year. I've worked hard to improve. Lately, however, I have had days where my performance fluctuates due to out of work/personal issues.

In the feedback from last year, I noticed the manager indicated further action would be taken if my performance deteriorates. I get the vibe that I'll be out the door come the performance review for this year.

Some of the other techs are less penalized for their mistakes and I feel like I'm micromanaged a lot more than the newer hires are.

I've done my best to learn from prior mistakes and to be independent when it comes to helping patients, as I've put in a lot of effort to get better at my job. However, as I said, there was a period where my performance got really rough and I am worried the prior corrective action will be escalated to a level 2 or 3 or 4, even.
