After an entire month of inconsistently trying I did it.

I started my lucid dreaming experiment on the 27th of July. I did the basics like dream journaling and reality checks. Within a few days my dream recall became very good. Like I could remember up to 4 dreams. However, I still did not get lucid.

But last night I went to bed at around 3AM. My mom woke me up at 8 AM. After some time at around 8:20 I went back to bed again. There I had a dream in which I was in my uncle's house and his neighbour's kid was there. But the kid was way too young. Upon realising that I instantly became lucid(did an RC obvsly). Upon becoming lucid the dream went from being vivid AF to not being vivid at all. Like it kept getting all black. My eyes kept getting shut. I had to keep them physically open. And after a second it went completely dark I thought I was about to wake up but I didn't. So I once again forced my eyes to be open. After that I started to look for an exit to the house so I could fly. I didn't find one. So I decided I will spawn in my celebrity crush and do the deed with her (I'm sorry🙂). So I imagined she would be behind me when I turned around. And when I turned around there was a woman sitting there. But the darkness obscured her face. Then I thought I don't want to do it in this room. I'll do it in the bigger bedroom of my uncle's house. So I went to that room. The room was dark. So I went to turn on the light. But the light switch malfunctioned and electricuted the shit out of me. I instantly woke up.

While I didn't anything special. I'll say it was a cool experience. I guess I'll keep trying.

P.S : Sorry for my bad English it ain't my first language

I fucking hate myself🫩

So today I went to bed with no intention to lucid dream. All of a sudden I got a false awakening. I immediately did a reality check. I tried to breathe with my nose closed. And I could breathe just fine. But for some reason I still doubted that I was dreaming. (It was a bit too vivid). So instead of doing another reality check I decided to attempt to make myself fly. I did not fly. That for some reason convinced me I was not dreaming. I was very sleepy and so I went back to sleep. The next morning when I woke up I realised what I did. I was this🤏🏻 close to lucid dreaming.

Did I lucid dream?

So I was dreaming last night. I saw that I was a black singer singing in front of the mirror. All of a sudden I went "Holy shit! I'm dreaming." After that everything went blurry and I woke up. I couldn't control or do anything. But I realised I was dreaming.

My dreams are getting more vivid but not lucid.

I'm not a native English speaker. So, sorry if I make any mistakes.

Alr so I have been following all the basic steps for LD'ing. I have been dream journaling, doing reality checks and regularly practicing WBTB. Now I have gone from not being able to recall my dreams from last night. To recalling multiple dreams every night. However, I'm still nowhere near being Lucid. It just keeps getting more vivid. But I still can't achieve an ounce of lucidity. Does anyone have any tips or smth I can do to achieve Lucidity?

Something weird happend?

So I have been trying to lucid dream for the past 3 days. The first 2 days I had no luck. But last night I had a dream. I was a blonde nazi woman waiter(don't ask). In my mind I thought to myself damn she is hot. And suddenly I was humping her. Still not conscious that I was dreaming. Then I woke up(REM cycle alarm) and was like damn that was a dream. Then after trying SSILD I went back to sleep again. I was that waiter again. But this time I was semi aware I was dreaming. But still couldn't do anything. Like I couldn't even observe my surroundings. But someone had ordered 4 large bowls of mashed potatoes(weird). So, like I said I was aware. But then my PoV kept getting closer to the potatoes. And for the rest of the dream I was observing those mashed potatoes while being semi self-aware.

A male cat keeps visiting the kittens in my house.

English ain't my first language. So sorry if I make any mistakes.

So, this cat (not our pet or smth) gave birth to 3 kittens in my house. Since the room which she gave birth in isn't usually used we let her be. Around every morning and night the mother comes and feeds her babies. However whenever the mom isn't in the house this big male cat comes to the kittens. He doesn't bite them or anything he just sits there for some reason. Is it safe to let him be around the kids. I mean do male cats attack kittens or something like that?
