I've been playing violent games since I was in highschool 1998. Mortal Kombat, Quake, Counterstrike, Unreal Tournament, GTA, etc...

I have a licensed firearm. I have a corporate job. I play sports. I grew up experiencing the pain of hangers, belts, slippers, erasers, rulers, and the sun. I went home with bruises because of fighting with bullies.

Kids today lack mental fortitude and grit. Hypersensitive and easily hurt and offended, breaks down easily.

Some people like to blame violent games. Lol. Those games gave me great hand-eye coordination, teamwork, strategy, analysis, sportsmanship, perseverance. If you've ever played the rc missions in vice city you'll know what I mean.

Those were my outlet. I shouted at my teammates and opponents in the internet cafe, at the tv. It was fun.

Nauso ang mga kabet nung kasagsagan ng mga BPOs. Mostly the younger generation, young married crowd, working the graveyard shift taking a smoking break together, being in the same team.

It was season 8 of SG1. Having watched the Lost City and finishing up the season I was itching to get to watching Atlantis. O'neill was general now so who were they going to get as the new lead of SG1. Lo and behold they got John Crichton himself. If you were a sci-fi fan at that time you'd certainly have watched Farscape. And with Claudia Black already in the show as Vala it was practically Fargate. Too Bad they didn't have Dargo and Rigel

Ben Bowder fit right into SG1. He had that personality and already has an established name in sci-fi. I think Mitchell and Shepard were great choices for leads. Not the best actors, but the best leads to carry on the tradition of that O'neill type character

You'd only get that if you were born around mid 80s and early 90s. Way back when, if there was a feature film adaptation of something, an anime series, a manga, even western cartoons or series, we'd call it "the movie version". That's how we'd describe it as kids. They tend to be more grounded and more realistic, darker, more mature, less jokey or cartoony. The likes of GITS, Alita, Macross..

They are not the fuzzy teddy bear you think they are. They are big nasty looking, highly advanced, warrior race, very agile, very strong, with psionic abilities. They travelled to another dimension looking for new resources and created new technology more powerful than any other that's ever been created. And now they're back. And they were going to be the new villains in Gero's new Stargate. Not really but one can dream.

Whenever they attempted to shut down the Stargate Program, our heroes always fought back. They never gave up. They always found a way. If we can't emulate that, then what's the use of all those times watching all those episodes. What's the use of wanting another show if we'll just give up.

I heard somewhere that it is mostly outside Japan that people really like the 1995 film. I for one love it more than the other iterations.

Where do you draw the line? Are there specific requisites for you to be able to say that this woman is for platonic friendship only and this other woman is good for romantic or sexual relationships?
