I'm watching the x files episode chinga written by Steven King. The story is in Maine about a haunted dall. The "ayuh"s are killing me

I don't really have much else to say. The story is ok but they are the saddest ayuh I ever heard

Am I crazy for thinking how humans seemed to ignore that the deep could actually communicate with sea animals?

Maybe I forgot but did he tell people about how the sea animals actually talked to him like humans would. Like full consciousness. Not just mindless animals looking for food? Did people just not believe him?

Also Like were there other supes who could talk to land animals? It just brings up so many questions

Edit: one theory I have is in the boys universe capitalism is even more explicit people care even less about animal lives than we do

I got this bulb planter tool for free. I like the idea of it but I don't like how the soil constantly clings to the inside any recommendations to get the soil out without hitting it

DAE have skills to fix and make things and constantly have people around you who expect you to use the skills for them?

I have some skills with carpentry, and landscaping and some very minor skills with other hands on things. I have a job where I use these skills 40 hours a week. It's not as much as it used to be but there were times people just expected that I would be happy to spend my time off doing it. Some people do but I'm at a point where I want to do it for myself. I've had times in my life I did it for family members but I only did it because they had no other options. Either I did it or it didn't get done because they couldn't afford to pay someone to do it.

I understand the solution is to set boundaries and say no. I just want to know I'm not the only one who goes through this. I've actually had situations where I think it's affected relationships because of it

A question about fuel use with one stove vs two

We have a stove in our basement. It works great but takes some time to get the heat upstairs. We got a small stove to use in our living room in addition to the basement stove. I've never used two stoves at once. For anyone who uses one vs two do you end up using more wood or maybe close to the same just spread between the two. I know it's a complicated question. My guess is maybe slightly more.

Has anyone here hauled firewood with a uhaul trailer. Are there any hidden fees?

My mother in law is offering me some firewood because they switched to pellets. It almost 2 hours away and my trailer is like 4x6. I'm considering renting a uhaul. Maybe an open trailer 4x7 ($15/day) or a covered box trailer 4x8 (about $30day) is there any other hidden costs.

Just immediately demanded and gets upset as soon as they do. Fing lead brain anger

I'm picking up this Vermont castings resolute coal burning stove. The guy said it can be converted to wood. But I can't find any kits. Can I just burn wood in it?
