And if you haven’t seen it, oblivion is a great movie.

To all the people who left trash on the beach in Pismo.

Show some respect to the people who live here.

How much does trailer aerodynamics affect towing efficiency?

I towed my trailer and another very aerodynamic one on the exact same route and compared how many mi/kWh I got with each.

Best of r/Pismo: Pizza!

Hi all,

Thought I would start a weekly “best of” Pismo Beach so that folks can learn some new places and also have a resource for folks who search for it.

Starting it off with…Pizza! I say we stick to the Pismo Beach area, maybe extend out a bit if you think something is really worthwhile.

This is just condensation from the A/C, right?

The A/C is on. Feels like water, smells like water, tastes like water. It’s definitely water. I’ve just never seen it come from here before.

It’s just another Saturday!

It’s May 16! Any chance there’s a live stream of the show in SF tonight?

Trailer module update occurred at my scheduled time, and apparently part of the update makes the truck think that a trailer is being disconnected. If your truck is locked, it will set off the alarm. In my case, at 1am.

Just trailered my horses 126.6 miles using 48% of the battery. 1.8 mi/kwh there thanks to a long downhill in the final couple miles to the ranch we competed at and 1.5 mi/kwh on the way back. Regrettably, I didn’t get a pic of the 1.8mi/kwh before I turned the truck off🤦‍♂️. Started out with 95% charge and made it home with 47%. Took all backroads and never really went above 50mph. Temecula to Riverside and back, so not flat topography.

The second pic is the return trip data and it says the return trip took 2hrs, but that includes 30 or so minutes idle time to supply power to the trailer while prepping to leave and keeping the lights on to clean the trailer.
