Edit. I returned it and the person working let me know if I wanted to grab a new one they did a whole purge of inventory and everything is fresh and should be good.

Edit: I reached out to venmo chat support to let them know but an agent never picked up. I'm not wasting my time calling. As y'all have stated I won't do anything with the money. I did however block the person in case they were more persistent. Thanks!

If it's legit I obviously don't want to keep their money, but this does sound like the beginning of a scam.

Just watched a neighbor's car get towed. Move your cars people!

I wish I would have had time to warn them but from the time I noticed the parking police to the tow truck rolling away with their car was only about a minute and a half.
