Whole Earth Cook Book (1972)

There's a very good recipe for banana bread in this book we've used over the years. Did you own a copy? What was your favorite recipe from it?

Instant emotional fakery?

I guess the premise is to add photos of deceased people and it generates fake interactions?

Scruffy man.

He's indeed scruffy..with detached ear? No, that can't be. It's his scarf, silly!

Squirrels ate all the toms.

I grew from seed 5 tomato plants this season and the squirrels have eaten every single tomato-green, before I could pick them at first blush! And it's not for want of water as we keep 4 birdbaths around the yard! Aaaghhhh! Worst pest damage ever.

I may try rooting some suckers and see what I get before fall.

Definitely going to look to making or buying some sort of screening/ mesh cages.

Battery upgrade.

I changed out my old battery for the slightly bigger 51R. I've seen various posts about trimming the old plastic tray to accommodate the bigger one. But I found that it seems to be very secure simply stapped down to the metal battery mount, sans tray.

Has anyone else done this/ could it cause problems?

Clearcoat conundrum.

Have any of you Fit folks fixed your clearcoat issues on your own? I tried some products that made the haze go away for awhile, but it's of course come back. Wonder how much it was cost to re do it?

Green lightning summer squash.

3 plants yield a handful a day. I like to pick them small and sometimes eat them raw, flowers and all!

"Consort" in North Eastern, MD.

We found this interesting. Presumably wife and consort were synonymous. At any rate, never seen this before.
