mmajunkie.usatoday.comOne result that has to happen for each of this weekend's main cards
This weekend is shaping up to be a massive one, with three major promotions hosting four events. I have chosen a match prediction from each of them:
Night of Champions: Iyo Sky wins Queen of the Ring.
A world champion like Liv Morgan should not have been entered into this tournament, let alone made it to the final. What if she wins? At least with Iyo, we get a clear fallout: she gets a title shot and chooses Liv as her opponent.
But it gets better. Stephanie Vaquer could be fully recovered from her shoulder injury come WrestleMania. And then there is Naomi, who did not lose the title in the ring. Perhaps a Fatal For-way is on deck?
The Great American Bash: Naraku wins the NXT Championship.
Speaking of Iyo Sky, her husband has been making a nice impression in NXT. Sorry, Tony D'Angelo, but your reign has been lackluster, and the time has come for a more charismatic person to sit on the throne.
Slammiversary: Xia Brookside wins the Knockouts Championship.
Xia Brookside is possibly my favorite Knockout. She has been mostly a bubbly face throughout her TNA tenure, and while she is better in that role, it has not led to anything significant, especially in terms of titles. However, her current heel run should change that. After all that nonsense involving Arianna Grace and Lei Ying Lee, this is the much-needed change.
Forbidden Door: Team Briscoe wins.
Go-home show curse aside, this is the logical move. Mark Briscoe is the perfect opponent for MJF at Redemption, so have him earn it.
Jean Silva adamant that next fight will be for title

If Battlefield 6 is to have a third fictional weapon, it should be a bullpup .338 LMG.
Battlefield 6 boasts some of the most faithfully recreated weapon models in FPS history (just look at how painstakingly they scanned the HK433, for starters!). However, it also has two fictional weapons: the SL9 (an SMG based on the receiver of an ST Kinetics CPW with the feeding system of the ZB-47) and the LMR27 (a bullpup DMR based on the thumbhole grip assembly of Hera Arms GEN2.0 CQR kit for the AR-15). (Thanks, IMFDB!)
Speaking of bullpups, next month's Season 4 will feature the first-ever sniper rifle with such a configuration: the .50-caliber Interdictor (aka the Desert Tech HTI). That will leave the light machine guns as the only weapon category besides sidearms without a bullpup, which I find to be odd and disappointing. I mean, 2042 had a bullpup Pecheneg, so why not this game?
Thus, I would like to present the concept of a bullpup machine gun, most likely for Season 5. I will name it the "BPAR-338". (Yes, a .338-caliber machine gun. Those things exist; Google them.)
The base design is taken from the RM277, General Dynamics' entry in the US Army's Next Generation Squad Weapon program. However, it has the dual-feed mechanism of the Stoner 63A and the Ares Shrike. Thus, it will resemble something like this bespoke lever-action rifle, but bigger and select-fire.
The "BPAR-338" will have a very low rate of fire, on par with the Ak 4D and the M/60. It will also have the lowest starting magazine capacity of any LMG, coming with a 20-round casket by default. A 30-round casket and 50- and 100-round belt boxes can be unlocked.
Speaking of magazines, it will uniquely operate differently depending on the type. If it feeds from a casket, it will operate on a closed bolt. It it feeds from a belt, it will operate on an open bolt.
Six barrels will available:
- 20" Precision
- 18" Standard
- 18" Heavy
- 16" Basic
- 16" Heavy
- 12" CQC
Other than that, standard attachments apply.
