When is the next Florida Naked Bash?

I've never been to a nudist resort or event, but I've been wanting to go to the Naked Bash for a long time, and probably will be able to this or next year. Website only mentions the 2023 event and the last post on the FYN instagram is from August 2025.

Has anyone heard of the Suicide Club of San Fransico?

I came across this in a Wikipedia rabbithole just now (which, for once I'm doing for fun without procrastinating anything, but I digress). The Suicide Club was an urbex secret society in San Fransico from 1977 to 1982.

Though they were quite short lived (and pre-internet), [they have a website ](https://www.suicideclub.com/)(probably(probably) by enthusiasts like us serving as its historian) and an [article in SFGate](https://www.sfgate.com/sf-culture/article/history-of-san-francisco-suicide-club-16554773.php), in addition to[ its wikipedia page](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Suicide_Club_(secret_society)). I just thought I'd share!

Learning Skincare Basics and Building the Ultimate Skincare Routine

Howdy y'all,

I want to build a medically-informed skincare regiment. There's a plethora, nay, a sea of products and it's hard to understand where to start. I currently just use a facial cleanser and Head&Shoulders shampoo+conditioner for my dandruff.

About me: I'm a 23 year old trans woman with eczema, and I estimate that my skin type is oily. I have mild to moderate acne on my face and back. I currently have body hair but I intend to shave and eventually laser it all off. If it's relevant, I have medium-hued skin with pronounced red undertones.

  1. Is there a glossary you recommend for understand what the different products and ingredients are?

  2. When I'm in the shower, what bathsoaps, shampoos, conditioners, and face washes should I use?

  3. What should I look for in serums, creams, lotions (if they're different from creams), scrubs, and facial masks? What about supplements? How should I prioritize purchasing these kinds of products?

  4. Are there contraindicative products? I want to look through all kinds of daily treatments and know which I should not mix.

  5. Is miscellar water useful outside of makeup removal?

  6. What ingredients should I avoid in makeup and nail polish products?

  7. This is much more far off, but what about luxury products such as jade rollers and LED treatments?

Thank you so much!! I've been wanting to ask about this for a long time, and thought I should start here before booking a dermatologist appointment to discuss this further.

User asks why he’s not making friends as a Indians guy and it turns very racist

https://www.reddit.com/r/MakeNewFriendsHere/s/IqwtNUhW2s

https://www.reddit.com/r/MakeNewFriendsHere/s/5CZsyM1GQf

I speak to everyone I do not care about race I’m just generally curious where people are from and it’s not like I’m from a good place. But usually when Indian men find out that I’m a female they completely change. I have received straight up adult content without giving any consent. Its not a race thing its more I guess u guys like sex more or something and have different boundaries. So I try to be careful and keep my distance. Indian women are great tho. So I guess it’s more a male thing for me rather than race.

Every Indian man I've talked to has always turned the conversation to sex.....

Edit: thanks for the award, stranger!

Started a conversation and they Instantly asked where I was from and blocked me the moment I said Pakistan.

You gonna be ghosted anyway, indian or not. But yeah, indian people have a bad reputation online around the world :/

https://www.reddit.com/r/MakeNewFriendsHere/s/yQyYsvICRZ

Because every Indian man I have met online turned serious creeper vibes on me.

https://www.reddit.com/r/MakeNewFriendsHere/s/t2BV3NUw7P

It’s because most Indian men are asking for “bobs” and “vagine” pictures from girls that are way out of their leagues.

https://www.reddit.com/r/MakeNewFriendsHere/s/8zzBFhPX3W

You guys have a reputation

https://www.reddit.com/r/MakeNewFriendsHere/s/NGt6e5CDqh

I don't know about others, but I've had a bad experience with people from India

https://www.reddit.com/r/MakeNewFriendsHere/s/OZ8G32CzK4

As a Bangladeshi woman I too avoid Indian men in chat. Not worth the hassle

https://www.reddit.com/r/MakeNewFriendsHere/s/4flH4KUcGd

I give every Indian the benefit of the doubt and reply to them, but genly the majority of ya'll are perverts. 💀

🤧it’s not your fault but as my experience (online and in real life)i don’t want to talk with Indian men 🤧

I dont eveb know what the product is or could be. It is kind of small for a bondage setup. Maybe it’s like a generic roofie?

This is just my take; y'all do whatever y'all want.

I feel that the purpose of organizing aesthetics is meant to serve as inspiration, not rules. I have a plethora of aesthetics that I like, and I use them to try to guide art ideas and stylistic choices.

You should combine aesthetics to build your style & art, not worry about fitting into them. It's all vibes, it's not a science. It's helpful to have vocabular for those vibes and to connect different media (music, fashion, visual art, etc.) to those vibes. I'd say the only rules that are important are ensuring your art & style aren't offensive in some way.

My favorite aesthetics are Urbancore & Afterhours, Mosscore & Cabincore, Americana & Folkpunk, Activist/Laborwave, Heistcore & Spy Fiction, CyberMetal & Rivethead, Psychedelic, Stripcore, Scene, and what I call "soft & playful" (pastel, kawaii, springtime). They're quite varied and build together to make something unique.

Don't worry about labeling yourself and fitting into a box. If you are alternative, then it's antithetical to the culture to try and strictly comply with a set of parameters. Instead, explore the cultures, histories, stories, music, fashion, and art which comprise your aesthetics.

I want to find things that fit into these categories and represent them all in my style (not all in a single outfit, obviously), but it's really cool to compartmentalize them into different aspects and articles.

Having put all these aesthetics out, now I'm gonna see about brainstorming some ideas to do just that. I'd love to see what combinations y'all come up with!
