My son will be 6 next month, and will be making his second attempt at Kindergarten

The past few weeks we have seen a severe escalation in his usual behaviors and stimming - I know these things can come and go, but something new has popped up

He’s always been pretty good with eye contact, but recently I try to get on his level to talk to him, he looks at me and then his eyes very harshly roll to the top-right corner (his right, my left), and I mean hard, like I thought it was a seizure for a moment

What’s got me concerned is that I asked him about it and he has no idea what I’m talking about, like he doesn’t realize that it’s happening

Has anyone ever dealt with this? Is it a result of this recent severe stimming spike?

I’m planning my first ever “extended” fast; aiming for a 2 week stretch starting on Aug-02.

I have done PLENTY of shorter fasts, usually 3 days, but 14 is obviously a different animal.

I am dead set on the 14 days, and I am really interested and open to any guidance, recommendations, and helpful hints you may have to help me achieve this goal.

I keep a monthly track of my net worth (overkill I know, I just enjoy doing it) and then see if the total value of my gold is 5% of that based on current market. I leave it alone if it’s more than 5%, and I just keep an eye out for at-spot deals when it gets below 5% (minimum 1oz); it could take a day or a week or a month, or more - i just wait it out.

Does anyone else take this approach? I guess it’s just a slower version dollar-cost averaging in a way.
