There’s nothing I detest more than people who undermine anything that has to do with me, whether it’s my family, my country, or me personally but this post is about a Zimbabwean living in South Africa who constantly belittles Zimbabwe (in Ndebele, ukuyeyisa). I absolutely despise that mentality with every blood cell in my body!! I heard someone say, “Does Zimbabwe even have straws?” that question genuinely pissed me off to the core! Like, what the hell is wrong with you? Do you really think my country is that backward? That level of disrespect is unbelievable. I honestly can’t wait for this clown to go back to South Africa ..forever kwere kwerez🚮

I think modern dating puts way too much emphasis on spotting red flags and not nearly enough on actual compatibility. People will end things over the smallest things because someone online labeled them a “red flag,” but they’ll overlook whether they genuinely enjoy each other’s company, communicate well, share values, or can work through disagreements. Not every flaw is a red flag. Sometimes it’s just a personality difference, a bad habit, or something that can be discussed and improved. If we treated every imperfection as a dealbreaker, almost nobody would end up in a healthy relationship. Am I missing something, or have we become too quick to judge instead of trying to understand people?

Yo peeps, am I the only one who still has feelings for their childhood love?
Back in 2013, I was in Grade 5 and she was in Grade 3. We really loved each other. We just didn’t know how to label it because we were kids, but the signs were definitely there trust me😂.
The last time I saw her was in 2019(7 years ago), and by then things weren’t as strong as they used to be. Fast forward to today, I still think about her, miss her, and sometimes hope we’ll meet again and do things right this time. I catch myself remembering the love I had for her and the love she had for me when we were kids.
She was my childhood love, and honestly, even after all these years without seeing her, the feelings are still there. Anyone else feel this way about their first childhood love?
