Parking
Hi! I’m starting at U of M and was wondering how parking works on campus. How do I get a parking permit, where do I apply, and is it hard to get a spot? Any advice would be appreciated!

So, I'm planning to send a package with some “Canadian” things and sweets for my cousin. He currently lives in Europe 🇨🇿 and has never been to Canada before. And I cant think of anything that would be special or exclusive, since I believe they have +- the same products as we do. So, if you were in this situation, what would you suggest getting?
Thanks in advance!
So, when I press the clutch, I can hear that weird sound. What could it be? Is it safe to drive like that for a few days?
After playing tennis, I got this blister (the skin just pulled off). Since then, I've put a dressing on it, and this is what it looks like after 3 days. What should I do? Do I wait until it falls off? Or should I see the doctor?
Hi everyone! I’m a beginner tennis player looking for someone to hit with and improve together. If you’re interested, feel free to send me a DM! I’m on the north side of the city. 🎾
Hey there! Are there any tennis clubs in the UofM that I can join? If so, how do I join them?
I'd love to start playing tennis and am looking to meet new people to play with!
Thanks in advance for any advice!
Hi there! Is this R18 works and sounds normally?
Thanks in advance!
Hey! So I just finished my May-June term and I feel like I want to take a summer break and start going back to school in fall instead of July. Is there any way I can do this? Or will I get in trouble because of that?
Thanks! 🙏
Is sharing a course syllabus considered as a academic misconduct? I googled it, and it says yes; however, I couldn't find any info specifically about the UofM.
Hi everyone,
I currently own a base-model 2010 Civic Coupe with a manual transmission, and I've been having a lot of fun driving it. Recently, though, I've started looking for something a bit more unique and driver-focused. One car that caught my attention is the BMW i3. I know it's very different from a Civic, but I like the lightweight design, RWD layout, and the fact that it seems like a fun city car.
For those who have owned or driven one, what do you think? Is the i3 actually enjoyable to drive, and would you consider it worth buying in 2026?
Thanks!
Hi everyone,
I currently own a base-model 2010 Honda Civic Coupe with a manual transmission. Lately, I’ve been considering switching to a Honda Fit from the same generation, as I’ve heard they’re surprisingly fun to drive. I’m wondering whether moving from an FG Civic to a Fit would actually make sense if my main goal is to have a more engaging driving experience. Has anyone owned or driven both? If so, how do they compare in terms of handling, driver involvement, and overall fun factor?
I’d appreciate any insights. Thanks!
Hi there! I just noticed this weird sound; it mostly happens when the clutch is released. When the clutch is pressed, it sounds normal. What could it be?
Hey everyone. I’m honestly feeling pretty discouraged about BIOL1000 right now…
I really enjoyed the course and felt like I understood the material, but my last midterm went much worse than expected (C+) , and now I’m stressed about the final and my GPA.
I’m hoping to continue toward nursing, so I was wondering if anyone who did well in BIOL1000 would be interested in tutoring or studying with me before the final (paid). I mainly need help with exam-style questions and how to prepare effectively.
Thanks in advance 🙌
I've owned my 2011 base coupe with a manual transmission for almost a year (it is my first car). I was wondering if it's worth getting an 8gen SI model, or if it makes more sense to get an 11 gen???
How capable of revving R18s are?
I got mine roughly a year ago with manual transmission and Im just wondering if that’s okay to rev it up to 4.5k rpms on daily basis? Usually oil is changed every 4-6k kms.
Thanks for your answer!
Hi! I'm looking forward to getting these wheels for my Civic. However, I own a base-model Civic coupe from 2011, and it originally came with 16” wheels, while the new ones are 17”. Will it cause any problems if I put them on? Btw the seller is asking $250cad for them
