For context I’m a 45 year old nyc native , had ig right after MySpace / Facebook so I’m part of the OG crowd . I think it completely went downhill for me after 2023. Nobody post anything and it’s rare that you even see a few stories. If I do post something, it doesn’t get any likes, but it gets tons of views from people I know personally. Sometimes I wonder if I did something ( like get on it on a blackout drunken night and said something lol ) or if they don’t like me anymore or what ? There are a few people that post consistently, but even then I feel like their stuff is kind of lame at this point. Like why even bother . Sometimes I feel like those are the ones that need validation. Listen life gets a little lonely at my age. And with all that’s going on in this country, I feel a little guilty posting a lavish dinner or a getaway to a resort when their people getting separated from families and kidnapped . Even my feet seems a little ridiculous now. It’s mostly women with BBL and famous OF models … you know who they are. Even after I reset my algorithm it continuously keeps showing scantily clad women. Almost like I have no saying what I wanna see. Feels like it’s being shoved down my throat. So what gives are you guys feeling the same? I do think TikTok is a little better. The content seems more realistic, and the stories are genuine.

I’ve sold a few thing on fb marketplace but I’m curious why buyers refuse to text me . They seem to only want to communicate through fb . I don’t mind but what gives .
