I started OMAD on May 22nd. I’ve dabbled with intermittent fasting in the past and decided screw it its time to go all in and get this fat off.

My meal is mid day I don’t track calorie intake. I focus on protein, fiber, healthy fats and complex carbs. If I’m craving something I have it. It makes this so much easier because I don’t have to worry about what I can or can’t eat. My motto is delay don’t deny.
I also work out everyday cardio and strength training to not only keep the muscle I have but to add onto it and I do a minimum of 10k steps just by walking my dogs and just daily life. I’ve been making sure to be outside in the sun in the nude for about 16 min a day 8 min on both sides because the sun is so good for my skin and my overall mood. It’s beneficial when it comes to Cortisol ( worth looking into)
I’m
Averaging about 2 pounds a week which I’m happy with . I hope to hit my goal weight my the end of October but I’m ok with it taking longer.
I’ve got 370 books as of now. It’s a modest collection as I’m aiming for 1k. Husband built my corner shelves they were in another area of the house but I wanted all my books in one place so it got relocated . I’ll have to add and re arrange as my collection grows but I’m happy with it for now 🥰
My home library isn’t super huge. My current book count is 370, but My goal is ofcourse 1k one day if I can make em fit that is lol. 🥰
Always a work in progress but I love having books 😍🥰
A couple times a month me and my book bestie will get a box of books from our personal library. So books we’ve read and don’t necessarily want to keep or ones we had every intention of reading but shelf space isn’t unlimited and we drive around to the dozens of LFL in our community and swap them out. We also visit our local library and there is a little “store “ where they sell books for really cheap .25-$1 and we normally find a handful to add to our collection.
It’s one of my favorite things that I look forward to
Starting weight was 181 lbs
Current weight is 164 lbs
Goal weight is 125 lbs
My favorite thing ppl tell me when i mention OMAD in other groups is that I can’t work out or if I do I won’t see any gains or won’t be able to build muscle. That I can’t get in enough protein in my one meal to make an significant difference . Lmao ya sure Susan 🤭😂

I’m doing OMAD and it’s been a total game changer for me. I don’t constantly stress about food and don’t have to focus on what I should and shouldn’t eat. While I do try to eat as healthy as I can I still enjoy things I want during my meal. The scale doesn’t always move the way I want but pictures really help me see the progress
I also work out every day cardio and strength training to keep and build muscle during my fat loss
So I’m on a weight loss journey. A little over 2 months in and I’m down 15 pounds. And lately I have this irrational fear that it’s just going to stop working. And I’ll never reach my goal. Anyone else get like that? Yes I know a deficit is required for loss but that’s not what I mean. Not sure if that makes sense or not
So when I first started this year in late April I had requested a large shirt. It was huge like i was swimming in that thing. So I asked my boss for a medium and i immediately hated it. It was tight and fit weird and I was like wtf why is this shirt like this. Turns out the shirt was fine I was just fat AF. I started my weightloss journey on May 22nd and as of this morning I’m down 15 pounds with 5 to go for my first weight loss mile stone. And my shirt looks so much better already 😂👏

I do OMAD ( one meal a day) usually mid day . Lots of water and i sip pickle juice for electrolytes. Daily exercise is a mix of cardio and strength training to help preserve and build muscle.
I don’t track calories but I do make sure to focus on animal protein, healthy fats, fiber complex carbs and then if I’m craving anything I add that in so I don’t feel deprived
I think the most important thing I’ve done on this journey is take pictures. I see no difference when I look in the mirror. I’m hoping to reach my goal by the end of the year
Edit…. the only thing I am showing is my stomach. My pubic line doesnt start until my pants. I have my pants at the lowest part of my stomach right before anything inappropriate . I would never have my crotch showing online. So before anyone else comes on here accusing me of showing my privates please learn body anatomy. All that is show is indeed my stomach the overhang is my lower stomach. Shesh
I never really liked reading when I was younger. Then in my mid 20s I got hired on at a local Amazon call center ( they needed associates to help with the last Harry Potter novel release).. I had a lady call in about a pre order for a movie called Twilight I’d never heard of it so I asked her about it. She raved about it and said there was a book. I was intrigued I went ahead and ordered it and the rest was history. I fell in love with twilight . I even got to meet Jeff Bezos because he visited the facility and he asked me if I liked twilight lol ( my whole cubicle was covered in everything twilight).
It has only been in the last year or so that I’ve started to buy books with regularity to build a home library
Went around town to some LFL with my book bestie and scored quite a few good books. I took a box of books with me so I could exchange mine for ones I took. I only ended up with 4 of the original ones I brought! It certainly scratch an itch I had to buy some books..
Edit to clear a few things up. We went to several FLF about 15 to be exact. I didn’t take any books without leaving the same number behind, I also took just one or two and sometimes just left a book without taking anything. I didn’t leave garbage behind I left good books ones from my own collection that I have already read and didn’t want to keep out ones I was going to read and decided I probably won’t. I do not collect junk so I would never leave junk in place of a book from a LFL
One more edit because apparently it’s necessary. What I left is honestly no ones business. I do not have to sit here and make sure the Reddit jury approved of my personal collection choices to leave with others. Millions of books out there and thousands of authors. What I like others may not and vice versa. You don’t get to decide what is worthy of leaving for others. So many miserable ppl in this community. Honestly please go talk the actual community within LFL ( there are groups just for those who run them) and understand that what I did is what is meant to be done.

I do OMAD ( one meal a day) please research it before telling me I have an ED or reporting me to Reddit because you’re worried about me 😂
I work out daily ( cardio and strength) which is important for Everyone but vital during weight loss to help
Preserve muscle. I get plenty of water and I like to sip pickle juice for electrolytes and sometimes to help curb evening hunger.
My meal is usually mid day with a focus on animal protein, healthy fat, fiber and complex carbs but if I’m craving things I’ll add that in so that I don’t feel deprived.
My clothes are fitting better especially my bras lol. I also shattered my ankle last Feb it required surgery and hardware and I can tell the loss is also really helping with overall recovery there as well.
remember sharing my journey a couple weeks in and I got a lot of flack for it. So just wanted to share that yes this is sustainable and yes it is working quite well for me. I’m just 7 pounds away from a 20 pound loss!!!
So I don’t have all my books in one place and I’ve got about 215 thus far. Only started seriously trying to build my collection last year in November ( but did have some books already) .

Time really flies when you’re having fun! 😅 I’m not anywhere near my goal yet and when I look in the mirror I see no change but so far so good. I think I’ve finally found a lifestyle that makes losing weight incredibly easy and simple for me. It’s a great lifestyle for sure. I also shattered my ankle last year in Feb it resulted in surgery and hardware and honestly I can already tell the weight lost has made a difference with that recovery too

I also exercise daily, lots of water intake, I like to sip pickle juice for electrolytes. I’m feeling a lot better already , not as swollen ( wiping is also easier I know that’s TMI but it’s wild how you don’t notice stuff like that till you start to lose weight) , I’m also sleeping a lot better and last year in February. I shattered my ankle had to have surgery and hardware and I can tell the weight loss is helping with that as well recovery wise. For me the scale is great to have but progress pics are vital for me. I can’t see any change when I look in the mirror. My body dysmorphia is something else. Anywho I hope to reach my goal before the end of the year!

I do daily OMAD ( one meal a day) it’s usually midday so like lunchish. I don’t track my calories ( one of the benefits of OMAD or IF ( intermittent fasting). I focus on animal protein, healthy fats, fiber and complex carbs when I make my meal. I use whatever I’ve got around the house. I also workout every day cardio and strength and try to drink as much water as I can. I like to sip pickle juice for electrolytes.
I’ve been doing OMAD since May 22nd. Decided to do an actual fast and at noon today it will be 48 hours, it was a lot easier than I thought it would be. I’m down another pound this morning too!
Pictures are before and technically during my fast and I see a difference for sure
