I did not care for Fluttercord

Before I get the Fluttercord shippers that will cram it down my throat, I personally never cared for that ship. It’s not that I HATE IT or people who ship it, it gives me the minor ick of ‘I can fix him’ trope I REALLY do not like

“These diapers said they were five dollars!” My honest reaction:

Guest called me over for help at the self checkout, I come over thinking nothing of it.

She claimed her $34 clearance diapers were $5 my mind immediately goes “you’re definitely lying because ain’t no way diapers were $5 in this economy but let me check.”

I checked the very same shelf

Mf, YOU WERE READING THE UNIT PRICE

I walk all the way back to the self checkout, and tell her they were in fact, not $5 and that they were the unit price, and she goes

“I can tell you it was definitely there but I’m not gonna have a big battle about it.”

PSA: not all of us in retail are dumb. We know what you’re doing.

Opaline is the ugliest design

Never did I think mlp would ever have an ugly main antagonist design, her magenta/purple color is an eyesore next to the white, and that’s hard to even accomplish since white goes with everything 💀

To some guests: YOU STINK! (Literally)

All day..

All day I’ve been getting guests that smell like SHIT

I know it’s not me because I carry deodorant on me and I shower before my shifts. (I hate smelling bad)

If I have to take a few steps back because of the way you smell, please, please for the love of god, humanity and my sanity put on some deodorant. And take a shower after.

I’m tired. I’m tired of getting guests that reek like earwax that’s been left out in the sun too damn long. I’ve smelled homeless shoppers that smell better than you!

I shouldn’t have to hold my breath around you.

-A tired cashier of smelly people

If I pass my trade school entry exam, I am quitting when classes start in fall!

I am taking the entry test in a week or so, I have been studying my ass off so I can get out of this shitty ass job. I have saved up enough money from the last 5 years so I can do so comfortably. Classes start in the fall. So not too much longer in this hellhole

The aggressiveness towards lesbians is getting worse in online spaces and it’s starting to piss me off

I guess this can fall under the identity/sexuality flair too but I mostly see it on the internet

I've been watching the discourse around lesbianism over the last few months, and the level of aggression toward the community is getting worse. People are constantly trying to police the label and dictate who lesbians should or shouldn't want to sleep with. Today was a perfect example: I posted on Twitter in a thread that as a lesbian, I don't like dick, and I was immediately accused of transphobia. Forcing someone to defend their lack of attraction to certain anatomy is invasive and unfair. It feels like the definition of lesbianism is being erased, and anyone who speaks up to defend it is immediately attacked.

The policing of the lesbian label has gotten out of hand, to the point where actual lesbians are effectively silenced when trying to address the misinformation spreading about our community. Most of this false information is being generated and pushed by non-lesbians, yet they are the ones who act like the gatekeepers of our identity. I am extremely tired of being told who I am allowed to be attracted to, or being labeled some kind of "phobic" just for setting standard boundaries. Every time I try to educate people or correct a false claim about lesbianism, I get accused of being exclusive or hateful. It is backward that people outside the community think they have the authority to dictate what a lesbian is, while actual lesbians are attacked for defending their own reality.

This isn't just an isolated issue on Twitter; I’m seeing the exact same pattern across multiple platforms, including TikTok and even here on Reddit. No matter where I go online, the response is identical. It feels like there is no safe space left to have an honest conversation about lesbian boundaries without being immediately targeted. I am not trying to start arguments or cause drama; I just want to be able to speak about my own lived experiences and identity without being instantly shut down, censored, or dogpiled by people who don't understand the community.

I’m a whole hour early

I honestly thought I was 3-8:30 because they’ve been giving me weird ass shifts recently but, nope, I’m 3:30 to 8:30. I wonder if I ask to clock in early and then leave early or what

Karen’s and customer service

The last few nights we’ve had a lot of lightning storms.

I work at guest services for target, usually night shift.

The last few nights we’ve had a lot of lightning storms, and in that same time we’ve had to close down drive up due to the weather. And every night I’ve worked I’ve gotten constant “drive up should be open!!!” From customers complaining about coming in.

Do you not have any compassion?

It’s totally not like the 3 tier carts that drive up uses has metal in it or anything! It’s not like it can cause a worker injury if they step outside with a METAL cart with LIGHTNING!

Lord forbid you have to WALK inside for a few moments of your time!

Best drawing apps that are for free?

I currently use medibang, and have for a long time but I’m getting real tired of it. I’ve tried Krita and absolutely hated it.

Ibis paint makes me pay because I’m on a pc. Limits annoy me
Someone help me ;-;

TEACH YOUR FUCKASS KIDS TO NOT INVADE MY PERSONAL SPACE!

I’m usually a cashier.

We have the old registers where there’s a little gap in the side so we can get in/out while scanning items or for whatever other reason.

Kids just LOOOVVVEEE to enter that space or sit on the ledge. And it greatly overstimulates me.

That is NOT for your kid.

And then (some not all, most are pretty chill about it) guests have the audacity to get UPSET when I kindly (and gently) ask their child to move.

YOUR KID IS IN MY SPACE!

GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY PERSONAL SPACE

TEACH YOUR KIDS BASIC UNDERSTANDING OF A PERSONAL BUBBLE!
-a tired asf cashier that dislikes kids

Edit: I know it’s not many, but I made a couple people mad, heaven forbid I want my personal space, if you cannot be bothered to teach your crotch goblin personal space don’t bother bringing them into stores! Me 4 years old could grasp to not be a space invader. If I can do that at 4 years old you can teach your 6-8 year old that too!

When you disagree with someone and then they make assumptions about your life.

Nothing bothers me more when you’re civilly disagreeing with someone on the internet, and their only comeback is an assumption on you and your life.

Like, is that all you have to rebuttal? All you have to bring to the table? You might as well not have said anything at all to me. It just proves to me and everyone else you have nothing good to argue off of.

The update I hate the most

I hated when they allowed villagers to come in and visit your house, one of my villagers keeps visiting multiple times a day, leave me aloneeee!

I want them to fix it to just once, or not at all.
